Build a coaching staff

I know most are probably getting tired of the endless "Fire Matt Rhule" rhetoric and I have seen a bunch of threads as to who many would like to see as the next head coach if Rhule is let go....

That said, we can talk all we want who we think would make a great head coach but we hardly talk about who they would bring with them in their regime. I mean, imo, the head coach is only as good as the staff that is brought in with them.

Being that said, two questions: If you were David Tepper and Scott Fitterer, who would you bring in as head coach? Annnd if they become the head coach, who would they bring with them?

I think for head coach it could be Brian Daboll.... Even though he isn't my ideal choice but given his background and his connections with Pat Stewart and Dan Morgan, I think Tepper could be convinced to hire him

As for Offensive coordinator, definitely could see him bring back a familiar name in Ken Dorsey. Dorsey has slowly been rising since joining the Bills.

Defensively, I have no clue but a name I could see coming out of left field is Eric Mangini... I know he's been out of the league for a while and I even sure he would even come back but him and Daboll did work together and could come in as a assistant HC just to help mentor Daboll and also manage the defense.

9 minutes ago, Mr. Scot said:

Head Coach - Nathaniel Hackett

Offensive Coordinator - Greg Olson or Brian Schottenheimer

Defensive Coordinator - Jim Schwartz or Gus Bradley

Special Teams Coach - Rich Bisaccia

Offensive Line Coach - Juan Castillo

Lots of other good options available with Hackett...

You're leaning pretty heavily on some staff blowups there . . . I wouldn't be surprised if Castillo and Bisaccia retain their current positions even in regime change.

    • Helllllllllllllll no on Tyreek, not even on a vet minimum and if he was playing at his peak abilities. We have way too young of a WR room to bring that head case into the locker room, there is just no way I want him around any of our WRs.  The things that make him great aren't things that can be taught, they're his natural born athletic gifts, so there isn't anything useful he can teach our guys and would just be a bad influence on them. Same goes for Stefon Diggs. Allen I'd love, he'd be a great mentor for T-Mac and Coker, but I doubt he plays anywhere other than with the Chargers or a legit true SB contender this year (and only small odds on the latter there, likely Chargers or nothing I'd guess).
    • On the new site if you don't have access to your old email I have the solution.    You will be give a chance to recover your account.   The site will ask you for your username and your old email.    If those entries match what is in the huddle database, you will be given the opportunity to input a new email address to reset your password with. You can then login and change your profile however you want.  If those entries don't match, it will be ignored.  This seems like a very simple solution. Once everyone is happy and migrated over we will remove the tool.
    • a lot of folks online saying "who?" I just keep replying, the guy who outplayed Puka Nacua in back to back games on national tv, that guy.
