I never said 5-10 spots. The way that the order is coming together, you shouldnt have to trade back far.  I thought I stated "2-3 spots." I will go back and edit if I made an error there.

It literally just happened last year... Jaylen Waddle.... #6 pick. Non QB.

Also, here are other years where teams traded into the top 6ish for non QBs:
1. 2018 Browns Denzel Ward (4th overall)
2. 2014 Bills for Sammy Watkins (4th overall)
3. 2014 Browns traded up to the 8th spot for Justin Gilbert
4. 2013 Dolphins for Dion Jordan (3rd overall)
5. 2013 Rams for Tavon Austin (8th overall)

Bonus: 2017 49ers and Bears swapped spots in the top 5 (QB)DL)

to answer your questions: The last time this happened, last year, and this has happened 7 times in the last 9 seasons.

So there is reason to be optimistic that this could possibly happen for us, especially with the way Fitterer worked the phone last year.

Some of those picks, like the first one Ward in 2018 were made pre draft for other players.   Watkins and Austin look like legit trade up for specific players

ah okay, yeah I missed on Denzel Ward there, forgot he was part of the Deshaun Watson trade. The rest should be accurate. My bad.

We can also add the Julio Jones trade as well, but that goes back a long time ago.

I will say Pickett is probably the best of a pretty weak QB lot.

Still haven't looked at the WKU kid, though. Maybe I will sit down and do that tomorrow.

I havent got to deep dive yet but so far I agree even though I think Ridder from Cinci flashes a lot of potential too and you dont hear too much about him yet.

Ridder is so sugar or poo. He has a decent NFL toolkit but his inconsistency is maddening. Similar to Howell in that he has a laundry list of mechanical issues to iron out.

I wanted Ridder in the 2nd round last year - type of talent you take a bit of a flier on.

Wouldn't like to spend a 1st rounder on him.

If we retain Rhule and draft Kenny Pickett... that's it. I'm done. Tepper will have bought a mediocre NFL franchise that had occasionally flirted with greatness and turned it into an absolute fuging laughing stock and NFL doormat. There would just be no point in continuing to follow this trainwreck.

LOL...Bro...you need to get on some prozac and share with me.... relax..we not gonna be relevant till 25...maybe.

    • If you're a QuickBooks Desktop user, you might have heard the news: Intuit is discontinuing service for older versions. This doesn't mean QuickBooks Desktop is disappearing entirely, but it does mean some important changes are happening. Let's break down what this means for you and your business. What does service discontinuation mean? Here's the key thing to understand: If you're using QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, or Enterprise versions from 2021 (including Mac versions), several critical services will no longer be available after May 31, 2024. These include: Payroll and Payment Services: QuickBooks Desktop Payroll and Desktop Payments won't be accessible through your 2021 software. Technical Support: Live technical support from Intuit will no longer be available for users of the discontinued versions. Security Updates: One of the most important aspects – you won't receive critical security updates to protect your financial data after June 1, 2024. Online Features: Features like Online Backup and Online Banking will also be unavailable through the discontinued software. In short, continuing to use QuickBooks Desktop 2021 after May 31st exposes your data to security risks and limits your access to helpful features and support. Products Affected by Service Discontinuation after May 31, 2024 Here's a list of specific QuickBooks Desktop versions affected by the service discontinuation: QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2021 All versions of QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2021 (General Business, Contractor, Manufacturing & Wholesale, Nonprofit, Professional Services, and Retail) QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 21 QuickBooks Premier Accountant Edition 2021 QuickBooks Enterprise Accountant 21 QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2021 If you're unsure which version you're using, you can easily check within your QuickBooks Desktop software. Products that will remain in service QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier 2022, 2023, 2024 QuickBooks Desktop Accountant 2022, 2023, 2024 QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 22, 23, 24 QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sales 22.0, 21.0 and 20.0 Moving Forward: Your Options With service discontinuation for older versions, Intuit is encouraging users to transition to QuickBooks Online. Here's why it might be a good fit: Greater Flexibility and Collaboration: QuickBooks Online is accessible from any device with an internet connection, allowing you to manage your finances on the go and collaborate with your team easily. Enhanced Features: QuickBooks Online offers a variety of features for managing finances, including automatic bank transaction syncing, bill pay, and real-time reports. Continuous Security Updates: With QuickBooks Online, you have the peace of mind knowing your data is protected with the latest security measures. To explore the different subscription plans and features offered by QuickBooks Online, visit the QuickBooks Online pricing page. Need Help Making the Switch? Intuit understands transitioning to a new system can be daunting. Here's how they can help: Unlimited Customer Support: When you switch to QuickBooks Online, you get access to unlimited customer support to answer any questions and guide you through the process. Dedicated Specialists: For a more personalized approach, you can schedule a consultation with a QuickBooks Online specialist at 𝟏-𝟖𝟑𝟑~𝟓𝟕𝟓÷𝟔𝟏𝟏𝟏 who can help you migrate your data and get set up for success. How will it impact on the customers who are willing to get instant help with a live representative? Customers who rely on getting instant help with a live representative will be impacted by the QuickBooks Desktop discontinuation in a few ways: Loss of Live Support for Discontinued Versions: After May 31, 2024, Intuit will no longer offer live technical support for users of QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, or Enterprise versions from 2021 (including Mac versions). This means if you encounter an issue and need immediate assistance, you won't have access to a live representative to help you troubleshoot. Shift to Online Support Channels: For those who switch to QuickBooks Online, live support is still available, but it might be through different channels compared to QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks Online offers support through phone, chat, and online communities. While some users might find these channels convenient, others who prefer direct phone contact might need to adjust. Potential Wait Times: While QuickBooks Online offers live support, there might be wait times depending on call volume or chat availability. This can be frustrating for customers who are used to getting immediate assistance through QuickBooks Desktop live support. Overall, the impact depends on the customer's preference. While live support remains available with QuickBooks Online, the format and potential wait times might differ from what they're used to with QuickBooks Desktop. • He wouldn’t have done either. He would have signed Kerry Collins or Matt Hasselbeck in Free Agency and then drafted somebody else tbh.    It was clear that Cam was better than the other two but everyone was scared to bet on him because Jamarcus Russell was still fresh on everyone’s mind.    Guarantee he would have brought back Matt Moore or and signed some vet.
    • I mean it works the other way too. Look at the people who skipped over Smith, Jenkins, Muhammad, Gamble, Kalil, etc. We have had more misses than hits but I promise other teams do the same thing.
