Awwwwwwwwwww hell... shots fired at Smitty?

No, He named 89 in the long list of guys that taught him about Keep Pounding.    Which I don’t think Cam sees any of upon his return here.  Rhule and his bunch don’t get it.

OK, I can see that.

I guess Smitty was just the first example to pop in my mind as someone who had criticisms and judgements for anyone but himself.

I believe he was largely talking about Matt Rhule.   From day 1 with fake talk of keeping Cam through last week.  That’s Rhule.   And I think he was also referencing the players and culture he always fought against that existed before he got here….that are now probably all over the locker room once again thanks to the Rhule era.

he wasnt talking about Rhule, he followed the cowards comment with compliments with Rhule. That would be a weird way to talk poo about someone.

Cam was doing textbook podium talk.
He literally broke that fact down.  Which means he takes all the blame and gives none to the coaches and other players.  He was showing people how it’s done.

But he made Rhule last week look like a chump and Rhule clearly knows that.  All you have to do is listen to Rhule today and last week following his post game presser during the week.

Cam did it again.  And if you read between the lines of his “not keeping it a buck” talk….and his long list of players that taught him about keep pounding…..he was throwing more shade IMO at Rhule and the current state of Carolina.

Rhule is a joke of a NFL HC.

    • yeah, Steve was basically like on any actual topic that approached his flaws/problems.....89 went with the long winded, try to sound like a wise man strategy of just basically just pleading the 5th (and sprinkling in the idea that others could of been wrong or wrong too).   also, in terms of the assaults and stuff like that....it feels like old 89, I feel has sort of forgotten his well-documented confessions and apologies about that aspect and era of his and was trying to re-write his story/image in hindsight.   And in all honesty, it seemed like a PR move on the twitter/cheating stuff also attempting to play himself as not the bad guy some think with the intentional vague suggestions. and the Pivot and all these athlete moves to basically take the reigns and power from traditional outlets exposes they have just as bad as flaws if not more often than the traditional media folks.  I mean I do like the free form long talk when dudes are telling stories but all this stuff is largely flawed and controlled PR often.
    • Sadly, I agree and I’m a huge Melo fan. Might be time to ship him out. Don’t want to make the same mistakes the Pels did. They should’ve gotten rid of Zion two years ago.
    • I forgot he was on the team and I'm pulling for him, but the statistics are not in his favor.  Some guys can recover from injuries and others cannot and let's hope Brooks is the former.  He was a beast in high school and college.
