I wouldn’t mind a defensive coach as long as he had staff with an offensive pedigree

@Mr. ScotSpeaking as a former Jets fan, If the Raiders are dumb enough to hire Todd Bowles as their head coach, they deserve whatever happens to them.    Todd is nothing more than a Decent Defensive Coordinator, imo.

I think that's probably also true of Dan Quinn and others.

Speculation has been that this offseason's cycle will be "the year of the retread", and I'm fine with that as long as it leaves good young up and comers available to us.

Looks like we going to have to wait till next year, don’t look like Rhule is getting fired this year. Yep Tepper wants to prove to everyone he made the right hire but that’s not the case. To give fans another year of this is a slap to our face.

You are probably right, but I can see Rhule getting the axe halfway through next year if we don't win some games early. I wonder if they let him make Nixon OC or go outside for a hire there...It'll be a sign of  how much Tepper still trusts Rhule.
