Do think the AFC is a bit more wide open. I think GB is going to be hard to beat with the offense finally clicking and the D/Jaire being healthy again.

D Campbell has been awesome for them.

AFc wise, Chiefs, Bills, Pats, they all have looked shaky at times but the team that’s proven to be the hardest to beat at their best (and has had the most impressive wins) is the Bengals. Their ceiling is the SB

Don’t want it to happen but we probably need Brady to win SB so he will leave. I think he would retire if he wins this one.

Brady would just toss it on his pile of Lombardis, AFCC/NFCC, MVPs, and other various awards.

Hes on a mission to cement his status of (*gag*) the greatest (*burp*) of all (*cough/sneeze*) time (*shart*).

He’ll continue until he physically can’t.  Bank on it, write it down, remember it.  He’ll be carried off that field one way or another.

Super Wildcard

AFC:

(3) Bills over (6) Patriots

My least confident pick. Bill Belichick teams are amazing in January but I have to believe the disparity in talent at QB is too much for even Bill to overcome.

(2) Chiefs over (7) Steelers

This shouldn't be close.

(5) Raiders over (4) Bengals

Young Bengals team gets good experience but falls to Las Vegas. Call it the spirit of John Madden, but there's just something to this Raiders team.

NFC

(2) Bucs over (7) Eagles

This game will be closer than people think. I wasn't comfortable picking against Belichick but there is no chance I'm picking against Brady.

 (6) 49ers over (3) Cowboys.

Cowboys defense is built on speed. 49ers are built on power.

McCarthy is fired on Monday and Kellen Moore promoted to keep him from being a candidate for the open jobs.

This will also be the game that convinces Rhule you can win with running, defense and a JAG QB while not realizing Darnold would have to improve quite a bit just to get to JAG level.

(5) Cardinals over (4) Rams

Rams all-in, win-now comes to s crashing halt. Cardinals play better on the road. Stafford has shown he was part of the problem even in Detroit.

Remember, all predictions wrong or your money back.

I can see the Packers representing the NFC in the SB. It’ll be a toss up in AFC. The League loves a good story, and with the passing of John Madden/John Gruden fiasco and Big Ben’s upcoming retirement, a Raiders-Steelers AFC championship matchup wouldn’t surprise me at all.

    • Ehlers needs to sit. Definitely can't lose him to a meaningless game.
    • Bet didn't hit because the referee missed 3 clear corner kicks. I had a 5k parlay that would have been alive tomorrow if he didn't miss those calls as well. Super annoying
    • I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition. Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th. We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can. The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher. Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.
