OK Marty.   Tremble was not that bad.  He had some good plays and given a decent OC he'll probably be better than any FA we bring in.  Everyone wants to draft that same position that we drafted last year because the player we drafted didn't make the Pro Bowl.  You have to let some of these guys develop.  Foolish to keep drafting or bringing in FA for the same positions when we have so many other needs. 

We are in serious need of interior linemen and should be our focus.   

I saw an early mock draft which has us talking the 3rd best O-line in the draft, however there were many more O-line that were taken in round one.   A QB wasn't taken until mid first round.

Trade down, pick up an extra draft pick.   Grab a 1st Round O-line and a QB in round two.

Mike was the punisher of those unfortunate souls venturing into the middle.  Crossing routes and Posts used to be Jacked Up material weekly.

I never understood why they let Grant walk… oh yeah, Hurney.

They've made his style of safety play essentially illegal. Without being able to lay the hammer he'd be a liability. Grant and Minter made a nice pair of complimentary safeties. We really could use a legit over the top FA to free up Chinn to work underneath. Then again, this roster could use a LOT.

Did you watch the Panthers and have you seen the roster?  Apparently not.  Your rant in is way off the mark here, bud.  Please, afford me a laugh...give me our current TE depth chart.  I'll suspect once you have look it up, I won't get a reply. 

QB in round two?  With magical Rhule dust?  You are aware we do not currently own a second rounder (or third for that matter) and just saying trade down for one doesn't make it so.  The Giants and Jets (who we are sandwiched between BOTH have two picks.  So if a team were itching to move up, are they calling the those teams with two picks or the Panthers?  Heck we tried to move back last year, but didn't get an offer Fitts was willing to accept.  Not to mention the QB class this year is B-A-D and you want a second rounder?  

So we drafted O-linemen last year and acquired some OL FAs.  We stand pat, correct?  You know it's foolish to keep trying to upgrade the same positions...

I'll pass on drafting another TE. Thomas has been average and we have Tremble trying to be our diamond in the rough. If we go TE, I'd prefer FA. 

If we can snag a top-notch LG, drop back a few spots in the draft and still take Linderbaum, I think our OL will be better than a year before. I'd like to see BC at LT with a full offseason as our starting LT. A veteran LG next to him and as near of a can't miss OL as Linderbaum in the middle anchoring down our OL for the next decade. Moton as the vet presence on the right and kick the tires on Brown at RG. 

Run a lot of packages with Tremble in to help BC on the left and your FA TE as the pass catcher. Maybe actually play TMJ and don't run CMC into the ground. 

Eh, this all doesn't mean anything because we'll trot out our "rockstar OC" re-tread he will f*ck it all up anyway.

      Is Chris Brazzell just another DJ Chark?

      I was checking out Chris Brazzell II measureables, and I thought they looked suspiciously familiar. Turns out it was true, almost identical measureables to former Panthers DJ Chark circa 2023. I even checked Terrace Marshall Jr results, and honestly isn't that far behind them.   I know this isn't unique for just our team, but we seem to specifically have an obsession with trying to make this tall lanky speedsters work for us. I admittedly wasn't that high on Brazzell, and when I watched the tape I didn't really see that 4.3 speed, and a strong wind seems to tackle him.   I really liked most of the draft, including getting Hecht in the 5th when I graded him as a #1 Center in this draft. I'm rooting for the guy to work out, especially since our HC and OC made their bones as Wide Receiver coaches. But Brazzell is the only one I'm kinda meh on. I was hoping we'd trade up to get Big Citrus, or if we went WR I liked Ted Hurst much better. We'll see though. 3rd rounders seem to be coin-flips for us (see DJ Johnson/Matt Corral).
