How does the Wilson trade, effect the Panthers draft?

Could see Seattle go young now that they have Drew Lock as a backup/bridge. They don’t really have a good core right now. Wagner is getting old. I will say after Penny finally showed up, him Fant, and Metcalf are about it.

Bad OL, a trending down defense. I can see them positioning for Bryce/Stroud/Haener. Something I see a few typically good teams doing that suddenly have QB vacancies.

Malik Willis would be perfect for the Seattle offense. At #9 and with all those extra picks they could easily jump ahead of us at #6

them jumping us is a good thing though. Bc that puts us in a prime spot to get a top 5 talent or even trade back with someone who wants it.  These are good events happening around us.

While other teams act, we're still looking at our navels.

It really seems we’ve always had Watson in mind and never deterred. Everything else has been bailout second ditch effort moves.

If it’s true, I find it strange to be so intent on him.

Our team owner and head coach aren't exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer.

I said Willis could potentially be Russell Wilson.  Makes sense the Hawks made this deal after watching his combine, if they feel they can move up to get him.

I really hope we take Willis now, but it just always feel like we're just a spot or two out of where we need to be the last couple of years.

I disagree.  If they jump us and take Willis and he ends up being Russell Wilson Part Two, we will be wearing egg on our face again.

would we though? That's like saying we should be wearing egg on our face for Herbert, Tua, or Josh Allen. All bc we didnt trade up to get them.

You could apply that to any team that didn't trade up for those guys. Woulda coulda shoulda is an endless game.
