Grade? By what measures? They haven't played a down for us yet so I'm confused.

But they have played football before so I can grade them based on how I perceive the signing given what money was given to them and fit.

Perception is subjective, or something like that. I'm leary of grades on players from anyone because it's always based on how the observer precieved they did in the past, which is fine, but it doesn't guarantee future results as we all know.

If I had to guage how these signings improve this team as a whole I would say unknown.  The olinemen is a welcome addition and hopefully will help out but he alone will not make any difference.

So I said all that nothingness to say that I don't have a clue how these guys will make a difference, if they make one at all. Grading the attempt to improve by signing players is a net positive I guess.

Don't get DW4, draft a LT at 6 or drop down and pick up the Center (Lindenum?)Trade Robbie and get a 3rd or 4th. Sign Mariotta to compete with Sam. Sign Djax. Draft another O-line and D-line guy and lets role.

We are NOT winning a SB in 2022 so build for 2023. Draft or sign your QB then. If we show real progress, maybe 9-10 wins (which I hope for), roll with Rhule one more year. If not, you've got a solid good young team, new HC and QB.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
