Hey y'all I know all the buzz is about Watson still, but keep in mind we have added three good new players to the fold! I feel like all three were very solid moves by Fitterer, and it is important to not overlook them. Yes we have not been as active as we could waiting for the Watson thing, but I still think given that situation we couldn't have done much better. Here is a breakdown and grade for each one written by me. Thank you for looking and appreciate you all 🙂

Good read! Nicely written and concise.

I hope they work out, but even good grabs can crash and burn with bad coaching. That has me very worried for the coming season.

I agree and share your concerns. The hiring of more experienced coaches like Campen & McAdoo along with the recent FA acquisitions so far give me a glimmer of hope that things just might turn around.

I would like to see Deonte Brown at LG -- I'm not against the above, but I liked what I saw out of him in the time he played. He MOVED the LOS at his spot, and seemed to hold up well versus the pass. 

Was a starter at LG for ALA, so the familiarity is there, as I am also interested to see what Brady can do in a full season at LT. 

I would prefer a trade back inside the top 15, and acquire a future 1st, and day 2 picks for this year to add more depth in other areas, and still have the chance to select a QB with a better all around roster.

      I still think another QB is brought in Day 3. Grier is camp body level at this point.

      We’re in a pickle. My best hope is we protect him and can run the ball vs most Ds and the WRs are healthy so he has every chance to not look like what he looked like in too many games last year.

      I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
