Has a cannon and is accurate..  but games arent played in underwear

his question mark is can he process plays in real time and make NFL reads?

sure he looks great out there but so much of being a QB is cerebral.

Plenty if great physical specimens have come out and flopped because they didn't have what it takes up top

we all knew he would show out but when you know every single pass you are going to make with no rush with ones receiver out there in his underwear, you better be on point!

All the games I play are in my underwear.

Tomorrow we'll find out there's a lot to love about Matt Corral.

There's chatter that the 49ers may be starting to question whether Lance was the right choice.

They expected to have him coached up by now, but the comments I've seen have described him as being "a year away from being a year away".

I think Kyle can design a simple offense for him to run as he learns the ropes.

Not a Willis Fan myself.

That one throw was stupid sick nasty though. 65 yards in the air on the spot.

Dude has a canon.

yeah but in a live game situation is he going to chose the right throw when dudes are bum rushing him with several options he could take while the defense tries to confuse him

im not saying its easy to go out on a proday and look great

but you know exactly where to put the ball, and who its going to, and its one receiver going out for a pass in underwear

we all know willis has the tools, and the people who are falling in love with him now are just riding the emotion wave

pro days do nothing to show how well a QB can process a live action play and what he has up top n

    • Velocity MPH. Okay, that’s a number in isolation. what if CJ has a nice 85% effort motion that does what he is looking for? And Young has to step into things to get even 2 mph behind him?  I don’t KNOW that about either it is just an example of numbers don’t always tell all, but when I look at Young throw it reminds me of someone like Fran Tarkenton. A throwback non athletic weak armed scrambler for those of you who don’t remember. Had a great career in the old smaller slower but much meaner NFL. Would not today, IMO.  I think the arm strength questions, are plenty fair. And the eyeball test, it does mean something. Who would take Bryce Young over CJ Stroud or Richardson based on his arm? It is obvious to the naked eye where they stack up.
    • Jarvis gets the first and the game winner!
    • Somehow win tonight and this series has a good chance to go 7 where anything can happen. will be an extremely tough test tonight though, probably the toughest game of the entire Rod era. Personally I'd go with Koochie but it'll prob be Freddie. Expecting a loss tonight so I don't get upset if it happens, but if we did somehow do the impossible and reverse sweep these fugers it'll be the happiest I've been about sports maybe ever (wasn't following the canes closely for our cup win otherwise that's obviously #1). Making the SB in '15 is up there right now but this could surpass that, especially if we can continue the run into the cup finals
