If you are scared get a dog

I have a gun… but I also don’t put myself in stupid situations either…. unfortunately there’s places that it doesn’t matter what you have as protection… I’m sure all the Durham residents remember the Social Games and Brews incident (it was just resolved a couple days ago)… you can’t even walk into a bar without getting shot.

From that article: FBI crime statistics show that Fayetteville, Greensboro, Rocky Mount, Goldsboro, Asheville and Charlotte all had higher rates of violent crime, per 100,000 people, in 2019, the most recent year for which data is available.

please tell me you don’t live in Charlotte

I do not live in Charlotte… I’m outside of Asheville (which the city itself is a lot like Durham with all the bums).

And anytime you are linked with Fayetteville, Greensboro, and Goldsboro, Rocky Mount, etc… it ain’t great.

I lived in Durham for 2 years, Raleigh for 6, Greensboro for 1, Charlotte for 18, and visited CH many times for shows. They ALL suck. The mountains or the coast are the only good parts of NC.

Good posters can have a off day... it happens right Brooklyn??

shocking name with this take...

I’ll give him props for living in Greensboro for a year because for my money it’s the worst city in NC.

I bought it around 1997/8.   Just sitting on it.   Wanted more near hillsborough but everything is through the roof.  Rtp is just doing crazy things to prices

I live in RTP, its insane. A nothing plot (less than acre) with a nothing home(1500sq) is bringing 700k+.

I may leave the state, I found a few places close to coast....but i need to vist... plus being only 3 foot above in elevation is a hard sell for my brain....

I get it. Living outside of Asheville is perfect for folks who can’t stand a lot of diversity. Unless you want diversity of the types of meth to choose from.

    • I'm not to sure it's a solid argument to try to estimate what he will do this season, BUT he's had a solid 3 years in the league. Here's his numbers compared to Jewell's for the same time period. I can see the logic of getting a starting MLB for a (at best) WR4. AT, XL and Tmac are certainly our top 3 guys IN 2025. Certainly worth pondering.
    • Training camp just started and it's already starting... https://www.facebook.com/reel/24277303321904901/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v LOL No one believes you and you have fan pages sharing this with a "Play him or trade him" headline. Oh wee mayne. This is why no front offices wanted any part of this.
    • Honestly, it only makes sense if you're trying to chase being the best bad team you can be this year. The number one question we need answered this season is whether or not Bryce is our long-term franchise QB. Trading away a second year WR who was second on the team in catch percentage, first in yards per target, and who clearly outplayed your 1st round pick for a likely one year rental fill in LB is exactly the type of short sighted desperation moves that has made us the worst franchise in the league under Tepper. We gotta stop making these types of moves and just focus on building a good organization and a good roster. Lloyd is a JAG LB another bad team and awful defense is wavering on and a couple of Panthers fans are salivating over him. Oof. We just need to be patient and wait. Definitely make some calls around the league to teams deep at LB and see if there's an opportunity to add one for a late round pick. Definitely shop the waiver wire hard. The reality is that LB is almost certainly going to be a weakness for us this year. We weren't fixing our entire roster in one off-season and we're not fixing an overall weak positional group in late July.  If you trade for Lloyd LB is still a weakness and you've given up a young promising WR who could potentially help you answer the question of whether or not Bryce is that guy. That's bad football business.
