2.  PAY to keep Miles?

3.  PAY for a TOP free-agent/big?

4.  PAY to keep LaMelo?

5.  PAY to go into the Luxury Tax for the 1st time, ever?

These are the moves he will need to make in order to give the moribund Bobcats a chance to break out of their long-term pattern of failure...

Lol. Then there are 16 even more terrible soccer teams in the mls with that mentality. We are the 11th best team in the league out of 28 and hold a top 5 home record in the MLS.

 

Yes they haven’t won a road game but neither has ten other teams in the mls. The majority of the league has 1 win or less on the road.

I don't think he's a bad owner at all. The in stadium experience from Bobcat Johnson to Michael Jordan was a dramatic change for the better. Win or lose, it's a party.

The courts and uniforms are FIRE and his quest to regain the legendary Hornets name will go down in North Carolina lore for generations. He'll take that.

He said publicly many times that IF he finally has that squad that can compete he will pay the luxury tax. He's said that for years.

Is this that squad? Yes. That's why D'Antoni is rumored to be the new HC and his 7 second offense is made for LaMelo. Jordan brought in Mitch as GM. That has been fruitful.

As of now the Hornets have the most accomplished and mature franchise owner in Charlotte sports for sure.

I don't think the Jordan is a bad owner mantra will stand the test of time.
