Sounding like he could end up being cut by the end of the week.

I know we have a ton of bodies at CB.  But would you consider bringing him in on a 1 year deal similar to Reddick last year?

No one this late in the FA year has the $$ to give him a Big contract.

IDK, zone CB play is something I don't miss.

Maybe a switch to safety? I would guess someone would pay him more than our needs allow. Solid player and guy, dependable if you don't ask the world of him.

Yeah he was a good zone CB in his prime but with Horn, Henderson, and yeah even Donte Jackson we're built to run a man scheme

I thought he was always regarded more as and exceed in man coverage.  He actually had a great year in 2020, but struggled last season.  I never thought he was as good as he was regarded here.  I think he's a good player who occasionally played great.  I wouldn't mind him coming back, but I don't think there is any guarantee he would make the roster.

It'll be interesting to watch because as ncfan pointed out above, Wilks was here with him his first few years in the league.

I thought he was a strong zone CB? Maybe I am completely getting that wrong.

Looked it up and it said he was strong in zone schemes and bad in man. Giants stuff

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
