Well folks!  Home ice matters! Or at least it did for round 1 Vs the Bruins. After a game 7 thrilling win, Canes play a Rangers team that won their game 7 in OT. 

Wednesday night at 7…. Canes V Rangers.

We'll be there Wednesday night.

Canes handled the Rangers during the regular season 3-1 with a 14-10 scoring advantage. But the playoffs are a difference animal and the Rangers came back from a 3-1 deficit to win that series, coming from behind in 3 games, with 1 in OT.

If I still lived in NC then I’d be there. If you can go then try to because all these transplants from NY are going to try and get tickets.

Unfortunately, I work 2nd shift Tuesday-Saturday. I know, lame however the Canes fans usually get together for a watch party in downtown Raleigh. Anybody interested?

I get it for this series but it might not matter. All those sewer rats from New York move down to the triangle and then flood the arena when the Canes play the Rags. Hell, the majority of Cary is fugging New Yorkers. Hopefully Canes fans show up.

Not getting Anderson back is definitely concerning. I don't expect a defense like Boston but the Rangers can put up points.

It's pretty comical reading through the rangers forum with how bad they think the hurricanes are. Everyone is saying they have way better top end talent, way better goaltending, and way better depth. They also say they have the 5 best players on the ice in the series The only advantage we apparently have is coaching.

 

Hopefully we take them to the wood shed and embarrass them

Is that why we beat them 3-1 this year?  Rangers fans like other fans are just being homers.   Players in the ice are what matters. Plus Rod the Bod is the man.

I’ve been reading the Rags HF forum and honestly they’ve been pretty complimentary of the Canes and the general consensus on their board is they are playing with house money. Of course there have been a few bad apples but every fan base has those.
