Coach said they would each get 6-8 plays

That is a typical matt Rhule answer, good offensive drives often last more than 6-8 plays, but whatever.

That is 2 series for Sam though, Two 3 and outs. Unless he turns it over.

Just glad to be able to see what guys actually look like after dealing with the Panthers media filter of the last 2 weeks. Rhule can no longer hide

You have to consider the fact that we run highly advance practice sessions and we dont want anyone stealing our secrets of how to win 5 games on a yearly basis.

Trust the process.

Why 1 pm on a beautiful summer Saturday ?  I won't be watching .  Life is too short for this team until they prove otherwise.

I am gonna be at a beer festival in WI.

I always get pumped for preseason, then watch about a quarter and remember it isn't real football.

This has been my feeling as well. Perennial losers acting like anybody needs to steal their practice footage to beat the brakes off this team.

    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
    • Alright man! We're here for it! Just glad you're keeping the doors open!
    • I think we've seen improvement in Bryce's performance. It still isn't up to world beater status, but in Canales defense, he can say that the limitations of the player were hit. I think he survives that even if Bryce doesn't. Still, I think it's a 50/50 shot for Bryce to make it. QB is one of the toughest jobs to do in the sports world, if not the most, so the failure rate is really high, no matter the pedigree. Heck, Archie Manning gets a lot of credit as a great QB but anyone who saw his career in motion knows he wasn't really that good and he was surrounded by bottom of the bowl players. He did get it figured out with his sons, though. That grandson... maybe.
