I've been here every day, reading every tweet...  I am not wrong.  He may have been giving Boze reps with who became (and should have always been the unquestioned) starring QB, but the vast majority of the reports throughout camp, even through Patriots joint practices, had Elf with the 1st string.  Even if Boze was the guy that worked most with Baker, it wasn't with the first team OL, which is what really matters.

It was yet another stupid charade from Rhule.  He also said nothing of intending to start Boze until now thatt hes injured, even if that was his plan.  He does this garbage to himself and to the detriment of our team...  like I said, my point remains, it negatively affects chemistry and continuity, and for what reason?  He did the same garbage with the OL last camp and preseason.  He plays these games, then we get to when it matters and we're rushing to try to gain some semblance of structure and preparedness, and on top of that, having to catch up lost time, not just from reps, but now injuries.

Pretty much this. Its to the point im starting to flirt with the idea that rhule is trying to get fired because its no justification for the repeated BS does.

If we beat the Browns, I hope some of you who have been upset about how reps have been distributed will quit whining.

I dont know how you think getting a win is just supposed to absolve rhule from all his croc of poo up too now. Any wins now is in spite of rhule not because of him.

Because he doesn't decide who starts and this was going on before Campen got here.

NO it wasn't.. Before Campen got here.. Rhule was giving jobs away and their was no competition or Juggling of Oline combination..

Do you not remember last year??

So you’re going into the season with a mindset that every loss is on Rhule and every win is in spite of him. Seems fair.

It makes sense, at least to me, that Rhule’s splitting of reps in preseason will be vindicated if we win Game 1. What do you think the repetitions are preparation for? Gameday, right?

Yeah I disagree with the last paragraph..

I don't think there is a clear cut correlation with rep Distribution and win loss record..

Win or lose the 1st game won't answer the rep debate..

There are examples both ways..

Cam split rep all TC with Clausen and broke every record as a rookie..

Jeff lewis got all 1st team reps and sucked so bad they cut him before game 1..

You take this on a case by case basis..

Adopting a wait and see approach when assessing the state of a team coming off three consecutive five win seasons that has struggled to build a solid oline across the board for several years is living in reality...

Dude you can't say You're  doing "wait and see" while shitting on every move made..

Wrong .. He didn't do this last year..

Erving, Eflin and Darnold were giving starting jobs..

We'd wish he would have done this last season.. Because Brady would have beaten out Erving and maybe Brown would have gotten Miller (sacks happen) ass out of here..

There will always be debate if you don’t detail how your questions can be answered. So - what parameters for our offense would make you accept that Rhule’s rep distribution was fine?

I do not see the Browns game as a huge benchmark of anything, unless it is a rout one way or another.  My reasoning has nothing to do with reps, Rhule's playing checkers on the chess board, the phase of the moon, or much of anything else that has been discussed here.

Increasingly over the years, the quality of play in the NFL is rough in September.  The first four weeks of the season are about like two boxers "feeling each other out" in the opening rounds.  There are teams that have been notoriously good in September and then flew south and became what everybody expected later.  Likewise, there have been teams that have struggled in September, then found their legs and charged on.

Our problem is that for the second consecutive year, we have three (or four if you count Arizona who has mailed it in against the Panthers since that infamous playoff game following the 2008 season) games that are easier potential wins than the bulk of our schedule.  It does not bode well if we don't collect those wins, but in terms of "style points," I don't expect a lot from us or anybody else, nor do they mean much at that stage of the season.

    • Never been. Going to a concert there Thursday night. Decent tailgating opportunities in the parking area or no? I see people are going to the beer hall to grab a beer to get their parking validated. Seems like a good plan to me. I'd like to smoke a brisket and do a decent spread of food but I just don't know if the parking setup allows for it.

    • Bryce also has a degree in psychology. He has an uncanny ability to compartmentalize things in a way that allows him to enter his second NFL season with optimism that he can still be the player who was worthy of being the No. 1 pick of the 2023 draft despite the kind of rookie year that has destroyed others in his position. Young credits that in part to his past. He graduated from the University of Alabama in three years with a degree in psychology. His father was a therapist in the mental health field for 20 years. His mother was a special education teacher, and his grandfather was a psychologist. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40334565/bryce-young-developing-leader-panthers-year-2
