Not even to explain why it was called and how to avoid getting another flag like it? Ok coach

It was called because of referee incompetence.  Avoid getting another flag like it by doing exactly what you did because it was a good, clean play.  There you go.

The thought of coaches wasting valuable practice time discussing how to avoid bad officiating is just about the most pointless endeavor I can imagine.

He didn't do anything wrong on that play. What do you want him to tell him? "Brian, maybe don't rush the QB next time."

I stood right there screaming from the rooftops this was a bad call but... it really wasnt.

Panthers in their mic'd up video they posted of Luvu showed an angle I hadn't seen where its pretty obvious Burns hits the QB in the facemask/neck area which would be a penalty.

I think its a soft call but could at least understand why that flag was thrown.

And this, I've seen worse not get called but hard to argue with these angles

this is the annoying BS.  Where they pretend like a problem was evident beforehand.

Baker and Elflien fumbled the exchange in the preseason game.  When they were fumbling the exchange on Sunday it was live tweeted that they had issues in practice leading up the Browns game with it.

Baker didn't get starter reps.  And he often was paired up with Bozeman and not working w/ the same center.

and it was so evident we talked specifically about the exchange issue and how it likely could be a problem as the season started.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
