It's kinda pointless to fire Rhule in season because there's no scandal and the people behind him suck just as bad. From the film coming out I can only see a positive return on wilks being DC. Because McAdoo sucks and no ones behind him.

I'd personally just like to hear and look at a different person during press conferences at this point if we're going to suck either way. And not have those confused sideline close ups of Rhule mid game. Sick of that too

It's going to be over either way very soon. This team isn't built to win and we have a very good chance of getting the 1st overall pick.

At this point we should just use a t shirt launcher. For Rhule after first quarter and then use the launcher and randomly give coaching duties to whoever catches it.  It’s gimmicky but this will boost fan interest.

I see.. instead of a dozen Krispy Kreme or a Bojangles Tailgate Pack you get to stand on the sidelines wear a headset. I dig this concept.

Disclaimer: I'm not actually thinking this happens, just more adding a cute title to the thread.

Kuechly was just born for football, really wonder what will his next spot be. I don't know but it's in his veins.  Would like to see him here in some capacity.

Seeing our elite all-timers gives me the warm and fuzzies but damn it makes you realize how poorly our current roster is built..

Ron's Peak: Luke, TD, Cam, Kalil, Stewart, Olsen, what we have isn't even close.

Fox's Peak: Smitty, Prime-Jake, Peppers, Rucker, Gross, Moose, Wharton, Minter, Morgan, Witherspoon, Gamble...holy crap we had talent

Now? Who's on that level?

CMC, Moore, Chinn, Moton...and a whole lot of TBDs or never will be

And these rosters all had the same time to be built.

If you think about it, there are few great players who can become great coaches.  My theory:  the best coaches are the overachievers who had to outwork, out-prepare, out hustle, etc. more talented players to succeed.  I look at the NFL head coaches, and I see more players like Dan Reeves, Herm Edwards, Mike Ditka, (old school) Mike Vrabel, Frank Reich, Kliff Kingsbury, and Ron Rivera---all were either not stars or they were known for their tenacious work ethic.

My theory is the same with some teachers (I am in education).  If things occur naturally to you, as they do with the great athletes, it is difficult to coach what you never had to develop or focus on.  While Luke might be a great coach because he is so well-rounded as a person, he may not understand why you need to motivate a person to play football or how to make a player translate from the film room to the practice field to the stadium.  I dunno, but the best NFL players just are not the best coaches for some reason.

Luke retired because of trauma to the head. Why in the world would he coach under Tepper and get his face kicked in day in and day out dealing with that idiot?

I seriously doubt David Teppers old 5'5 azz could kick Luke in the face...

Yes I understand the sarcasm here, Luke wad a defensive coordinator when he was on the feild... He would be a LBs coach or defensive coordinator already if he wanted... He seems to be enjoying the easier side of retirement, probably had somthing to do with if it weren't for the concussions he could still be playing the game at a high level.
