The only pieces people would want to trade for are the players you wouldn't want to lose - and they'd expect them for pennies on the dollar.

No thanks.

Fitterer doesnt seem like the type to sell low. This could be his last year as GM here, and if it is... Tepper has most likely told him dont do anything with the roster. That's the other piece to consider here.... Tepper is the only one who knows the plan for next season. So he may just want to freeze the roster outside of a couple players like Robbie , bc we make money on trading him.

It’s a lot more attractive, in my opinion, to have more cap and more draft picks to rebuild into the new coach’s imagine than to be hamstrung with many of the current over valued players and their over valued salaries

they need a QB and nothing to get one with unless they continue to lose and are at least in the top 3 of the draft

but that’s just my opinion

Totally agree. The new coach can mold the players he likes from the draft

Julian Council from Lockedon has done an indepth review of all of Fitts moves and will be doing a podcast about it this week.  Not sure now since the firing but the brief recap of it doesnt sound very positive.

I mean when you look at it what is one trade where he has really won?  I aint seeing it.

we arent going to go into a fire sale. We want to bring HCs here not push them away.

While true, having the first or second overall pick is more important to smart coaches than several 'pieces'.

If you don't have a quarterback, you don't have a consistent team.

Im not on the defense for Fitterer. I am still a fan of the CJ trade, and know many here are knocking it. CJ on film looks really good when the ball doesnt come his direction. He doesnt fit the scheme we are running, and the 3 PIs are tough. Although I still think yesterday's PI was bs.

I honeslty would love to see Dan Morgan promoted and part of the hiring process for the new HC. Dan Morgan has ties to Buffalo and Seattle.... so Quinn and Dorsey just make too much sense.

I will keep a lookout for this Council video.  Thanks for the heads up.
