Need to figure out a way to get all the lines going, right now it’s the second line and friends show.

Think the first line needs a net front presence and that a bump down might get Turbo going.

Teravainen - Staal - Fast

Martinook - Stepan - Noesen

I’d like to see the Canes call up Drury as well and see if he can provide a spark to the fourth line.

Also, shoutout to Stefan Noesen, he’s quietly come in and recorded three points in three games, I believe at least two were on the power play.

I’m hopeful that he eventually gets to play with Drury and that those two can build off of some chemistry that they may have built with the Wolves.

The offense did their thing, but gave up too many odd-man rushes. 

The defense was a step behind all night and even looked a little intimidated.

3 of Edmonton's goals were the result of bad decisions, out of position and letting someone get behind the D to the net. Sloppy stuff.

It's a 4-3 win if you take out the gimmes.

Connor McDavid has scored 2 goals in 10 games against the Canes. Can't be intimidated by that.

We need to give credit to the oilers. They have the best player in the league 2 of the top points leaders last year and very good offense. Sure we didn’t look the best on D and In goal but Their top 3 will do this to anyteam. Let’s pump  the brakes on any changes right now. It’s 1 game and we are still the best team in the league.
