The entire Jets team is fine. This is actually a GREAT Jets team, and Zack has been playing like crap. Yeah he's young, but he's making terrible, TERRIBLE mistakes.

Zack just isn't good right now and the team expects more from him.

All right, again hes a bad fit for them and the environment.  I was never a big believer while driving the trey lance spaceship.......(whom looked just as bad)...

Sounds like the locker room doesn't like his personality either.  Not a good combination.

I'm disputing it. I don't care about a minority of posters making off-hand comments, and mocks that some posters make every week for their own entertainment. Show me were there are multiple posters "banging the table" to trade multiple firsts for Wilson. This wasn't some contingency.

I literally said I wasn't going to waste my time scrolling through pages of threads from a year and a half ago to post a bunch examples to make you happy. I figured me immediately finding a couple on the first page of threads in my search at least gave the hint they were easy enough to find. But if you don't remember or just weren't active enough on this thread to see that several people were pushing for us trade up for Zach Wilson and the examples I posted aren't enough to change your mind, I guess I'm just going to have to figure out how to go to sleep tonight knowing Mr. Krovvy isn't convinced.

There you go dumb dumb, that was after 10 seconds of scrolling through the threads he linked.  You now gonna ask for video evidence of a table physically being slammed or what?

What? I never denied liking Zach Wilson… I thought he looked really good. Looking like I was wrong for now

I mean I wouldn't care if we whiffed on Zack Wilsion, because at least we fugin' tried then, we need to draft a QB.

But yeah lmao Mac Jones is better than him.

Really? You wouldn't care if we traded multiple picks to take Zach Wilson because it means "we tried"? I definitely care if we try and fail.

Also your definition of "trying" must be very restrictive. It's arguable that very few teams have tried harder over the last 3 years to find a qb. We signed Teddy Bridgewater to the biggest free agent contract for a qb that year, traded multiple picks for Darnold in 2021, traded for Baker, and traded up in the 3rd to draft Corral. I mean, you could point to teams that really didn't try to upgrade qb like the Lions or even the Seahawks, although they managed to coax a career year out of Geno Smith. But it's pretty disingenuous to say the Panthers haven't tried just because they didn't trade a ransom to draft a first round qb last year especially when those qbs are looking pretty underwhelming for the most part.

Yea. If we’re judging them right now, they’re all busts. Cuz none have them have been worth a poo. All of them could improve though. Except maybe Mac Jones. He capped out in college.

Yea the famed 2021 is looking like the horror 2022 class. Far too early, just right now many are looking bad.... Burrow is about the only QB form the last 5 years thats in the the changing franchise category(personally Id take hendo, but hes struggling some)...... its the hardest thing in the sports world to take a historic bad team and turn them into a winning team *given you need 22 starters and a bunch of STers ala a clutch kicker(brady ownes his life to them).

Mac Jones has thee goat HC and his elite Ds covering his arse.....same for the rookie season, hes just one step ahead of a 2022 4th rounder...... not impressive to me.

Yeah, then don't expect anyone to take you seriously when you, being charitable, overstate others positions so you can strawman for a dunk without actually arguing anything of merit.

He posted a link to one of the threads.

The huddle being dreadfully wrong about a QB draft prospect isn't anything new. Not that many people wanted Wilson though many could see through the BYU (lol) hype. I would say more wanted us to take Fields. We hope that decision doesn't bite us.

I'm not going to spend hours researching this but if you were active on the Huddle at the time, plenty of people were in love with him. Just a quick search I found a few threads where it's discussed and if spending more of my Sunday doing this research for you was worth my time, I could find a half dozen more.

Oh dude, I absolutely loved Wilson coming out of BYU.

Loved me some Carson Strong this past year too.

Wasn't a fan of Herbert that year he came out.

Didn't necessarily want Cam either.

Basically my opinions of QBs suck and no one should listen to me.

Nah not really. You gotta take a risk for a QB and if our coaching staff liked Wilsion enough at the time, sure go for it. I wouldn't have been happy, Wilson's personality and the fact that he only showed improv deep shoots made me like him less than Lance honestly, but as a person who believes it's really, REALLY fugin' hard to win paying QBs big big money, and y'gotta do what y'gotta do to get young, cheap talent at the position. Big reason I was so vocal abt NOT wanting to trade for Watsonat the end of 2020, we'd be giving up a lot AND strapping ourselves cap wise.

Your second point is kinda true - We paid Teddy a lot and we traded for Sam and traded up for Corral. We even were close to Stafford last year til his wife spoke up. But my above point still stands and while the jury is still out on Corral, he's a 3rd round pick who fell for a reason (I will admit that part of that reason is MOST teams have their QB situation more figured out than ours), Sam was a loooooooooong shot and Teddy was a stop gap at most.
