Draft prospects other than QB

We have focused so much on QB that no one is talking about other possible positions that we could use with our first pick.  Even sitting at our current spot at 5 the odds of us getting Stroud or Young are quite slim.

Those of you that really follow many teams and games over the season might have some input.

I like WR M. Harrison Jr.  Downs from UNC.  (Probably too high for round 1)

TE Bowers from Ga (not sure if he's eligible)

TE Washington from Ga.

Who's on your radar outside of QB?  Who's the best MLB and Edge?

If you are going to insult people you might want to try and make sure your top non-QB is even 2023 draft eligible. SMH, it’s been posted in here a bunch of times that he’s a 2024 draft guy.

I didn't insult anybody.  Guy posted a smart-ass comment.

Sue me, I didn't see where Harrison Jr. wasn't eligible.

We have several million topics on Tanking, QBs and our current draft position.   Is it so bad to try and get a topic other than those three main topics.    I didn't list several names because though I watch college games I don't sit around with a pen and paper writing names down and what F-ing year they are eligible.

QBs:

Anthony Richardson, I am also not against Bo Nix or Michael Pennix later on if Will Anderson is on the board when we pick.

Other guys in no particular order or ranking that I like through the draft:

Will Anderson-Edge-Alabama

Jalen Carter-DT-Georgia

Michael Mayer-TE-Notre Dame

Dalton Kincaid-TE-Utah

Josh Downs-WR-UNC

Rashee Rice-WR-SMU

Joe Tippmann-C-Wisconsin

Clark Barrington-G-BYU

Jahmyr Gibbs-RB-Alabama

Chase Brown-RB-Illinois

Noah Ruggles-K-Ohio State

Tommy Eichenburg-MLB- Ohio State

Jack Campbell-MLB- Iowa

Lukas Van Ness-DE-Iowa

Jalin Hyatt-WE-Tennessee

Ivan Pace Jr-OLB-Cinci

Keeanu Benton-DT-Wisconsin

Hunter Luepke-FB-North Dakota State

That's what I am talking about.  Appreciate it.

What about that TCU receiver, is he eligible? I haven’t been following anything except QB closely but that guy was the most impressive WR I’ve seen so far this year. I e seen tons of Harrison video since I’ve watched every offensive play by OSU that there’s video of, but just a couple games worth of stuff on the TCU guy.  If we can’t get Stroud or Young in the first, a top WR or pass rusher would be my vote.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
