I like Coach.  Stand up guy.  Hard to not love  him

but his conservative nature works against him and whether that’s real or a perception is certainly up for debate

that nature showed it’s head against Tampa

mid rather he tried fir that foot ir yard then punt

yeah.   It wasn't like it was 4th and 2...it was 4th and a foot and you had foreman/chuba who could get that foot OR even Sam with his sneaky..uh...QB sneaks.

He forgot that this was a game where you CAN'T go conservative and he did.

It also didn't help that he made the wrong defensive call not once but twice with Evans.

Had Evans been stopped at least ONCE from scoring a TD, I think the situation would've been slightly different right now.

Said they wanted to build the defense first, questioned whether or not they wanted to put a young QB behind a less talented OL. They need a guy that they draft and develop to be there over a long period of time whether that's Matt, Sam, or someone else.

Fitt says have to figure out head coach first before we figure out the QB room. Still excited about Corral's future.

Sam's gone.

Good to hear that Corral is still in the team's plans as he should.

I want to see what he's got.  🙂

That was odd to say the least, get the coach then figure out the qb room

It makes sense.   Any new coach would want their own guy.

Said "ballhawk" a couple times now.  Thinking a FS too.   Bookend to Burns mentioned as well.  My mocks...at least positional-wise have been spot on!

Fitterer has been in the Huddle's mock draft thread, lol!

Brian Branch is my favorite safety. A bunch of good CBs will go mid-late first.

Oh man buckle up

They’re going to go for it this offseason after listening to Fitterer

Not sure why he shared as much as he did but sounds like they’ll blow a good chunk of future cap space and draft assets taking their shots

Vertical WR, TE with speed, LB, pass rusher opposite of Burns, ballhawk at the backend.

Not that anyone thought he was staying but to make a few splashy signings/picks this offseason then hand the keys to Wilks would be like pairing Cam Newton up with Shula all over again

    • Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.
    • Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
    • I basically made almost the exact predictions on a phone call with a buddy about 3 weeks ago. I really do expect Evero gone before the seasons end, Young to just not able to get over the hump enough and DC to head into next season on a VERY hot seat.
