Would be good but Anderson and Gibbs aren't falling that far.

Yeah can see it happening

But for what? This year's 1st, next year's 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 2025 1st? Seriously, just draft Anthony Richardson if that's what it's going to cost. Or even trade down a few picks, still get Richardson, pick up another 2nd, draft receiver, tight end, and maybe Charbonnet at running back (6'1 225 4.45 40) and re-sign Foreman. Draft Mims in the 4th. LSU CB Rick's in the 3rd.

My mock was for this year's 1st, next your 1st, and the year after next 4th. That's well worth to move up for a franchise QB and the one you WANT, and not settle for one you don't want.

Please remember this is just for fun and not likely to have any chance of happening. But it's fun and I'm curious to see your trades and players you like. I've made several trades and taken BPA at positions of need.

Are you sure this is only for fun?  I'm pretty sure that when I do this, I'm pretty positive this will happen in real life.

DE is so deep this draft, so use one of the 2nd round picks to fill that gaping hole in our defense. Then, get an offensive weapon or two. Sell the farm next year for Maye or Williams who will come into one of the best O-lines in the league and Frank Reich

    • I wonder if they'd consider trading Rasheed Walker to a team that needs tackle help but missed out in the draft?
    • LOL. This is such a Panthers fan take.  Anyone who falls to us must suck because some other team didn't take them before.  We got lucky with Lemon, Thieneman, and Freeling all falling to us (honestly any of the three is a A+) but the WR and S positions are much deeper than the LT position in this draft.  We got the LT w/ the most upside at 19.  Mauigoa played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the nfl.  Spano played RT in college and some think he is a guard in the NFL due to short arms.  Blake Miller played RT in college and is not as good as Freeling.  Proctor is a true LT but his ability to handle quick edge's worries me (see Icky).  Freeling is a true LT and a gifted pass protector.  Many think he has a very high ceiling and will benefit from not having to start right away.  This is how you build a franchise.
    • After watching Cam get killed for years behind a bad Oline and having to watch the 2021 and 2023 Olines I will never complain about this team putting resources into that spot.  We got a true LT who could really push Rasheed Walker for the day 1 job. Go back and watch Iceky's draft profile from 2022 and all the talk was Ickey would be an all-pro guard in a zone blocking scheme, but he could play LT in a gap power run scheme. That's why Ickey looked really good when Wilks took over and we just started running gap run plays and just mauled people up front but under Canales we've been more of a zone running team. Ickey can survive at LT with his pass blocking but his true strength will always be his ability to just move guys in the run game and that's a skill set that's better used at guard.  Take another OT later on day 3 to learn from Moton to take over RT in a couple of years and let Walker and Freeling battle it out for the day 1 LT job then next offseason trade one of Hunt of Lewis and let Ickey move inside to guard.
