Yea seriously doubt this happens.

He'll be there when we pick at the original spot. And if the other 3 are gone I could see us trading down and acquiring more picks. The draft is such a crap shoot we could trade down and still wind up selecting him.

Like I said previously, if Willis lasted to the 80's last year it's indeed possible.

Side note: I do think on draft night Young will fall. Literally only because of his height.

No he's not. Hurts is the strongest QB in the NFL. Hurts squats over 600.

Also Hurts busted his ass to become the passer he is today and Hurts has all the intangibles including leadership and class.

Comparing AR15 to Hurts is a pretty big task.

But if I thought he was Hurts then yes I would move up for him.

For me I think people are hoping for Lamar or Cam with AR and he isn’t near the player either guy is/was.  I wouldn’t pick him in round 1 cuz you are going to keep waiting for him to be a decent passer and it probably never comes.  Cam was robo  QB and he couldn’t hold up in this league.  Cam was way better IMO too.

Josh Allen is an anomaly and has one of the strongest arms the NFL has ever seen.  AR doesn’t have that arm talent.

Yep. His weight will be the bigger issue and reason he falls.

No doubt he’s a good QB, but I don’t expect him to last a full season or have a long career.

That's true. When Allen threw at the combine his arm was leaps and bounds over everyone else on deep balls.

It wasn't even close

My idea with Young is if he does stay healthy and plays 10 seasons he can win a Super Bowl..maybe more than 1.  IMO that makes him worth the top pick.  He is the best player and anyone can get hurt in the NFL

I’m talking about arm strength and playing style coming out of college. Hurts has bulked up quite a bit because of his hard work.

As the saying goes, ‘Beauty is in the eye of the beholder’

…and there are a lot of teams ‘beholding’ QBs ahead if the Panthers

as Coach watches tape with the Scouts and the pro days and combine play out, many things can change

The  moment comes for Carolina in Rd 1  whatever Coach R and Fitterer do defines the next 10 years for the franchise.

let’s just hope the person on the Panthers staff with a rd 1 grade on Corrall isn’t the person of influence this time around.

Richardson is already squatting 500 at Florida while being several years younger than Hurts who was a senior at Oklahoma. He cleans 325, runs a 4.4, and can launch a football 75 yards like he did at the Manning camp. I’m telling you he is a freak of nature. If he has Hurts’ work ethic, he might be worth moving up for… If Reich likes him in the interviews I will be happy if we draft him (obviously preferably at 9).
