That’s the issue. The people that are freaking out over him possibly being the pick likely watched very little of his play last year. They just read the stats and freak out. AR would actually sit back and go through progressions and throw some nice 2nd/3rd option passes to some transfer junior college WR running the wrong route and dropping his pass. Florida’s offense was a poo show. The professionals are doing a much deeper dive which is why he will go in the 1st this year despite his stars.

I will say this about him. I have seen some people try to compare his rawness to Willis. That's not right because AR is much further along, and of course he played in a big boy conference. That being said, he put up some stinkers due to the level of competition which is concerning. He couldn't sit back like Willis and look like a men among boys, running it and chucking it all over the field at will.

The question for Willis is whether or not he'll be able to read pro defenses and make the proper reads. This is the same question for Corral, but Corral didn't have accuracy issues. Where Richardson should have it over Corral is running ability and durability. He's bigger and presumably stronger, but the mental aspect of the game is just as important, and it's not like Corral doesn't have good mobility himself. 

It will be interesting for sure if we're the ones that actually draft Richardson.

Corral has accuracy issues on his deep balls - he literally changes his throwing motion to throw the ball deep.

I think if you get the green light on him from your psychologists / coaches - whoever analyses his drive / coachability then you could convince yourself to take him over Young and Stroud. 

Takes a brave GM to do that though considering their relative production in College.

I'm super intrigued by Richardson but he's definitely boom or bust. No doubt about that.

I'll be excited as hell if we draft him because that means that our very qualified and experienced coaching staff (whew, that's a relief) believes in him and their ability to develop him. I won't throw a fit if we don't draft him because then the opposite would be true and I do trust this staff to make this call more so than any staff we've ever had.

I'll honor the honeymoon for a period, whether a year or two, but all this needs to lead to something. I would give them three depending upon progress, but the Rhule experience and age has made me just a little more impatient.

Oh, for sure. Competence and experience doesn't automatically guarantee success. You can still swing and whiff. Bill Belichick has had no shortage of bad draft picks.

      Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.

      The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
