It would be glorious though to have a Patriots like run where we were consistent and everyone else was in turmoil for 10-15yrs!

Might as well feel hopeful in the off season

i mean, why not be optimistic and if you can’t be optimistic in the off season, when  can you be

the scourge has been banished…a new sheriff is in town

All true. But when they got in the playoffs the dominated the competition.  It's one thing to cakewalk through your division but its a totally different level when you cakewalk through the playoffs and the SB.

Getting to video tape the opposing teams practice sure seemed to help them during the first half of one particular SB...

Im fine with either of the 4 QB's honestly.

Draft them and develop them. I like having the "unknown" factor when it comes to these QB's.

We already know what these vet QB's are.

These vets are already better than these "unknowns", we know that. The unkown angle just gives a built in excuse when they dont work out.

But he didnt get one..hmm intetesting.

But you can tell he dove into the roster and the division and came to same conclusion we all have for years now. Get a fuging QB and run the south because the division is cheeks

I could definitely see that happening.

Could easily be Hooker, not saying he'd be top 10 in the league but he's getting the opposite treatment of Levis. One guy was horrible and gets tons of excuses, the other guy put up great stats but gets no credit. And it's not small school BS, he put up good numbers against good teams

I could see this QB class mirroring the 2014 QB draft class.

Blake Bortles, Johnny Manziel and Teddy Bridgewater in the first, Garropolo in the second. And those are the highlights...

Remember how much hype there was over Bortles and Manziel? Woof. Yeah, it could be that year again. Heck, 2022 could have been that year for all we know.

There isn't a AR comp, but Levis--> Bortles (strong arm, prototypical size) Young-->Manziel (undersized, athletic, moxy). Stroud-->Bridgewater (checks all the boxes).

You left our Carr too, he and Jimmy G. were my main point.  Two second rounders ended up saving that entire draft class.  Hooker could end up being like Carr from this class as the the most accomplished when all said and done.  Probably another day 2 or day 3 QB will trend like Jimmy G.

    • For us to win 9-10 games a lot of poo has to break in our favor.  A lot more than last season.  That stuff just doesnt happen two years in a row.   I really think the icky injury is really going to mess things up for a prolonged period.  We have all seen what happens when we dont have a competent LT.  Things get dicey in hurry.   Couple that with Tampa getting healthy, Atlanta getting some grown ups in the room and New Orleans on the up and up then our div seemingly is slowly rising from the ashes.  Oh yeah that goes along with our first place schedule   As we sit here today I would say our O/U is probably 6.5-7.   Maybe.   But if this offense doesnt get figured out stat then we are in a world of hurt.  We cannot be relying on going for it on 4rth so much and we cannot think the breaks are going to go our way in one score games.  For us to win 10 games we probably need close to a top 10 offense.  As of 2/2/26 I just dont see it
    • I know it's obviously more than Kon. But whewww boy, when you actually hit on a cornerstone piece in the draft, good things happen.  Playing our way out of needing lottery luck this year, and should wind up with 2 1sts in the late teens to low 20 range.
    • It’s crazy. I had a feeling that we were gonna go into Houston and whip their ass lol
