Why did you make this up? You were asked for a source, and your response wasn’t a source, but your interpretation of his practice routines.

There’s plenty of evidence he isn’t a good QB without having to create another narrative out of thin air (unless you have an actual source).

He's the same flawed quarterback he was five years ago with the Jets. He has not developed. You guys want to blame Adam Gase Matt Rhule and whatever other boogeyman you can find when it's ultimately up to Sam to change his habits. Look no further than his last start. Worse than any we've seen with even Jimmy Clausen. You're telling me that guy has been giving it his all to improve and wants to be a hall of famer and win Super Bowls? He had 19 million reasons and many more to get out there and put Baker Mayfield in the rear view in camp and by his own words he could not be bothered. Keep playing the blame game like you owe him something though.

So, no source?

You have some kind of syndrome.

Try the same standards you are putting on this Darnold with the rest of the quarterbacks we have had the last 20 years and see how that works out.

The people saying Sam Darnold is bad.....aren't claiming all the other QBs over the last 20 years weren't bad though.   Sam is being held to the same standards.

You can't even put Sam Darnold ahead of the Matt Moore's.  Sam Darnold is not a good NFL QB.

Let me help you.

He couldn't beat out Mayfield in camp and he had the lowest completion percentage since his rookie year.

Some of you just can't help but make excuses for the worst QB's in our history 🤦‍♂️

Not a defense of Darnold at all, but stats are deceiving. T2G has a higher career completion % than Cam. Which one is the better QB? You have to look at the whole body of work. His decision making got better at the end of the year. He did what he was asked to do. Do I want him as my starting QB? Nope.

Oh I could put him on a par with Moore. Say what you will. Don’t care.
People do not want to admit that Darnold got better.
I am just wishing people would be honest instead of clinging to what I see as the need to be right meaning they made statements here they don’t want to take back. Is that you? I don’t know what statements you have made but it seems you are invested in the Darnold is trash narrative.
At least be honest about what you are seeing. He did play better in 2022. He did show potential. He is as young as some guys people want us to draft. If you believe Greg Olsen, see what he had to say about Darnold in games he called.
I was against the acquisition to start with and 100% against picking up the option so if you want to call me a Darnold fanboy fine go ahead but it it is wrong. I am pretty impartial. Throwing him out, is a worse mistake than tossing Corral. Though he is not under contract and Corral, is. So I guess it isn’t the same thing. But you guys that think Darnold could not win with a decent team around him, I disagree.

Less his decision making was getting better and more the coaching staff knew what QB they had and wouldn't let him do anymore than the basics because if he did more he'd have a bunch of turnovers.

I said you can't put him ahead of QBs like Matt Moore.  Which you can't.

At best, you might could argue Sam Darnold is on par w/ the Matt Moore's of the world.    Which even that involves you throwing all stats out the window.  Because Matt Moore edges him out in basically every statistical category.

Is anyone up in arms when we say Matt Moore is one of the sucky old QBs we have had to play over the last 20 years? Nope.

I get what you're saying. I was just pointing out stats can be deceiving and you need to actually look at the game to get the entire picture. Still don't want him as my starting QB though.
