The Ravens can’t be this dumb? They’re a smart organization right?

No, it means that the Ravens are dumbasses. Furthermore, I don't think that he's the boogeyman, but I know that he has been a league MVP and has that type of talent.

Yet still lost to us last year.

And heck, we've beaten MVPs before.

Do you know what the NFL stands for , Not For Long , Cam has been a league MVP also , but he isn't ever going to be able to play at that level again

What someone has been means nothing, it only matters what you can bring now, and The Ravens are not blind, if Lamar was capable of getting them back to the superbowl , They would break the bank to keep him

No, they don't want to break the bank to keep him. What they want is to keep contracts for star QBs (if not star players at any position) what they consider reasonable. What they definitely don't want is to set in stone a precedent of guaranteeing NFL contracts.

What you fail to realize is if they thought that Lamar was incapable of getting them back to the Super Bowl, then they wouldn't have offered him a contract at all. If you don't believe that, then watch what happens. There is a whole lot of politicking going on here, and seeing who will blink first. If the Ravens fail to get it done, someone else will.

Yes, any given Sunday...Furthermore, It's funny how you want to basically blame Lamar Jackson for the loss, but conveniently forget that he's a part of an organization that you've been putting on a pedestal as a role model of a franchise. Lamar didn't lose to us by himself, there's a pretty good coach, and DC (among others) that got their asses whipped also. John Harbaugh lost to Steve Wilks and a broken coaching staff, but that has conveniently been left out of your decidedly weak attempt to blame all things bad on Jackson.

Or it's going to be 50m a year for a QB that hasn't finished the year the past 2 seasons. Risky either way.

Yes, risks abound, but someone is going to weigh the risks and go from there. Some team will likely trade up to one, and some team is likely going to pay Jackson. "No risk it, no biscuit!"

Huh? Ravens won 13-3 on Nov 20, 2022.

Topdawg you should know by now to fact check everything this guy says before wasting energy debating him

He's using the Watson contract as leverage. No team is offering him that deal.

What he will get is 200 mil guaranteed.

Like it or not Watson is a much better qb. Well he was before the rub and tug scandal and not playing for a couple of years thing. He still wasn't worth that much guaranteed money before all that. Lamar better take that offer and tell his momma to take a pill. What he really needs to do is get an agent.  I would not touch him just on that fact alone.

And it wasn’t even that close. Baltimore had 6 possessions in our territory to start the game and got 3 or 6 points. Hard to think someone would forget that we barely moved the ball and lost. But hey, at least we beat Burrow.

Agree partially. I mixed up the final result with one of the other games, but not the details.

Our offense was ineffective, but so was theirs until a late turnover. And Jackson was nothing special that day.

That part I remember 😆

We didn't beat Burrow though. The Bengals doubled us up.
