This. We're going to hear every rumor under the sun and be expected to draft every draft eligible QB between now and then. Buckle up and don't get too excited or disappointed along the way.

Now where's the fun in that? It's entertaining to watch the meltdowns over rumors. I cannot wait until draft night when bubbles are burst and the ranting goes into overdrive.

I don't know why anyone gives Will Kunkel any level of credence. Let the rumors fly. Regardless it's much better knowing for sure one way or the other we are going to make some kind of big move. I'll hope for the best whichever QB we end up drafting.

Doesn't matter what we do, there will be a sizeable faction of the Huddle who thinks we've paved the way to a dynasty and a roughly equally sizeable faction who thinks we've doomed ourselves to a decade of bottom feeding.

Honestly, I hope he's right. I hope there are three QBs we'd love to have. That means we can go to #3 instead of #1. It still won't be cheap but hopefully considerably cheaper than #1.

If they want someone that can start day 1, that only leaves 1, maybe 2 QBs(Young and maybe Stroud). Levis is not ready to start.

So true.

Honestly, I don't know who they should draft, but I know they had better be right, especially if they move up. And I'm not even necessarily saying they have to get the best guy, but the pick had better be able to lead a football team...on the field.

This the best you can hope for. If he turns out to be better than that then let's win this thing. If he's turns out to be worse then back to the draft we go.

He's not the only one saying that.

It pretty closely matches what Joe Person has said.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
