We're restructuring Taylor Moton's contract for cap space. Also there are rumors we might be trying to trade up in the Draft.

Thursday:

Rumors continue to swirl that we may try and trade up, but the price will likely be high.

Friday:

We've traded up to #1 in the NFL Draft, with trade compensation less than might have been expected.

No they didn't. They said we were interested and calling to talk money, but the Saints swooped in first.

Even had the conversation occurred though, there's no guarantee it would have led to a signing (there never was).

They could still be interested in Garoppolo, unless the Panthers think Stroud/Young is going to start from day 1, which I think is highly unlikely.
