Unless it's discovered Stroud murders people in his spare time or his arm falls off before the draft...he's the guy. I really have no doubt he's the pick.

In my humble opinion I think Stroud is the choice and the receivers are being signed with that in mind. With the questionable life choices that some young people make a lot can happen before draft day. By not even leaking info about the #1 pick the Panthers could easily pivot on draft day and change the selection. We hope that doesn’t happen, but we have already seen it with Jalen Carter.

All of these "sources" tweets are probably bullshit. Nobody really knows.

That said, I do think that ultimately it's C.J. Stroud.

Yep. Sooooo tired of Twitter and how soooooo many people take it as gospel. Unless someone tells you who their source is in the tweet, or says on conditions of anonymity ... it's BS. Everyone wants to be a twitter journalist with their "connections" or "sources". It's all crap. All of it.

Good still doesn’t change the fact this dude miss more easy passes on the level of Kyle Bowler and  Has less experienced then any QB predicted to be drafted in the 1st round..

He couldn’t read defense once they made adjustments..  He was lost when they spied him.. And without his running ability he would be similar to Clemson’s Ugala..

Dont take me seriously but show this great film where a QB with the lowest comp % Of any QB ever considered to be drafted this high and a 17  - 9 tds to interception line and just blame his footwork.. Even with good footwork he miss throws and went to the wrong read..

Facts are facts

You're not very convincing. I don't feel like you're the type to take the time to watch the games.

Another aspect that may make Reich favor Stroud not being talked about is Stroud being a Christian character guy and Reich has a theology degree from RTS in charlotte…

Young is very high character. His father is a therapist and motivational speaker.

I really don’t care what you think at some point you can’t dispute  or neglect the hard Numbers ..

Which if it wasn’t for his outstanding athletic ability would be looked at like a 3rd round QB..

Being truly honest if it wasn’t for Josh Allen.. AR would have went back to school because the actual numbers are bad..

Yeah, I can tell you don't watch the games because you refer specifically to college statistics instead of evaluating what's happening in each player's games.

I don't really care either way. You can go back to evaluating quarterbacks you find the hottest for all I care.

    • This 1000%.  Hey who wants to sign with the guy that couldn't even get his client the guaranteed contract of a 3rd round pick?  Lmao
    • I don't think it's any weird or unique clause, it's the offset language, same thing so many contract disputes are over. It just means that including it, if a player is cut and then signed by another team, the original team would be able to subtract how much they're getting paid by the new team from what they still owe him on their guaranteed money. For example, it's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum last year with the Steelers as that was included in his Denver contract.  So if he signed with the Steelers for $1 million, he'd get $1 million less from the Broncos, if it was $2 million, he'd get $2 million less, basically he couldn't make any more money than he was already going to make, so you sign for the minimum to not take unnecessary cap room from your new team while giving extra cap room to your old one. The problem with trying to include it in rookie deals is that a team trying to include it, it says they think they don't really believe the player will make it 4 years with the team before they cut them.  And this usually comes up with one or two rookies in most seasons, the difference is it's usually handled much more quietly and not as public and ugly as this one. The other difference is that it's happening with the Bengals, which I believe I saw are one of the few (or only?) team that doesn't have protections for rookies in rookie and mini camps to be able to participate even if they haven't signed their contract yet.  The other teams have injury protections that allow them to still play, but the Bengals do not, which is also why this one is so public and ugly, as most the time this happens, the rookie is still participating in the rookie and subsequent mini camps, giving them more time to get the contract done before training camp when they'd then hold out.
