Absolutely, it’s like Fitt said, you don’t trade up for a guy unless you conviction for them, if they are truly dead set on AR, so be it. Like you, I’m good with whoever, except levis lol

Pretty much every tidbit that comes out confirms it's not just one guy they have "conviction" for.

With all due respect nobody will care if you are done with this franchise.

If a player makes you leave you were never a real fan to begin with.

bullshit motherfuger i suffered through the rhule seasons, jerry richardsons pie charts etc. if they traded dj moore and a bunch of picks for a qb who literally cant throw the football then we out

I'd laugh if we drafted Levis with the 1st, started Dalton for the first half of the season, and signed Sam Darnold as backup just to see CamWhoaaCam go back to wherever he came from a mere three months ago.

I’m in the minority, but I’d love this. With that being said, I doubt it happens, I doubt TD would show our cards this early, or even at all. A couple of analyst have broke down ARs “bad” games and how they really weren’t all his fault. One said his WRs were never ever open.

Yes he’s very raw, but I’ve seen several users on here say no matter who we draft, with this staff, they are good with it. Why can’t it be the same for this kid? Anyway, it’s young or stroud, this is just for clicks.

He's raw, but he's calm and moves well in the pocket, throws with anticipation and improved as the year went on.

The negative is that he needs to improve his throwing mechanics (mainly footwork) or he'll always be inaccurate. If you've got Reich, McCown and Dalton in the building I can see you talking yourself into taking the QB with the highest upside.

Same here, plus fifteen years of Hurney and plenty of other sh-t.

So bottom line, if I'm gonna bail, it'll be because of something way bigger than the team making a draft pick I didn't agree with.

I know they are clowns but to dismiss the points made does not make sense. The tape does not lie. Combine results do not change how you scout these QB’s and AR will not be the pick. No way what TD said comes true, the staff is not that dumb. CJ and Young are on another level of QB and they will not risk their job by drafting AR number one overall.

I mean they were talking about his vertical leap and his broad jump, asking how they're going to help him in the NFL i.e. they're not playing leapfrog.

They're simply a measure of explosiveness - it's a silly argument.

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
