Carr and develop a couple of young guys you didn't have to trade future draft gold to get, could have worked despite what the instant gratification obsessed claim. 

But not at that money for Carr.

It will be interesting to see if Carr is better than Dalton with the Saints. If anything to see if these QB contracts are anywhere near worth their value.
