Did the S2 TEST take CJ out?

Yeah man I'm tired of these tests, and won't even share the actual scores.  Y'all remember the Wonderlic test?  What happened to that one?

Another fun fact, QBs who scored low on the Wonderlic test:  Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Donovan McNabb, Terry Damn Bradshaw!

That statistic about no low scoring prospect from the last 7 years making it is quite damning. If Stroud did perform badly in the test than I can imagine that all but rules him out of being our pick.

I just think its funny this test is going to become the end all be all for some people with people like Zuerline saying stuff like that, but no one is actually able to show the results from the last 7 years to prove it.

And we don't even know what would be considered a low score.  We don't know if the ones who scored low for the past 7 years, were 5th rounders or later.  We have no context of anything.

The Wonderlic was a general intelligence test. The S2 is supposed to just test how fast you process visual input and how many moving objects (think players) you can keep track of at once.

Not sure how it has been validated, except people are saying Brock Purdy is the poster boy for it.  Still, it is an interesting concept.  In fact, they should put a mini S2 in your car and if you don't pass it after a certain hour it calls an Uber for you.

Unlikely since the only thing that’s been said regarding Stroud and the test is that ALL the top QB prospects scored very well on it.

It was an interesting Zuerline interview it almost felt like his sources in the Front Office asked him to start pushing that it wasnt their fault on Bryce and talk people out of Stroud.

But it does make sense that front office would like the S2 a lot.

    • That's certainly what we hope but c'mon... stating it as fact when he's never played a down of NFL football?
    • What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.
    • Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
