Why. Why the fug would you start any face off with an empty net 4v4 with 5 minutes let.

Like really and this is the second time I’ve heard an ESPN announcer in a playoff game say it’s a good idea. No. It’s the stupidest idea. There is so much open ice. If you establish the zone THEN you pull your goalie but 4v4 it’s still a stupid idea in playoff hockey.

It pisses me off that they keep calling the soft hand tap from the side with the flat side of the stick, when they didn’t call the complete tomahawk chop the islanders put on the TT.

Year after year in the post season, teams abuse us and we get no calls. It is just common practice at this point. Jarvis and Drury are fast but small, and I expect one or both to be out in the playoffs from here out.

Everybody send positive juju to Flahda game 7 and embarrass the Bruins

Not only would this be embarrassing.

Not only would this be a monumental upset.

But it would remove the one real ROADBLOCK to the Stanley Cup Finals, imo.

Neither Toronto nor Tampa Bay scare me like Boston does.

If Florida completes the upset, every team remaining in the east has a legit shot at the Cup.

It's going to be tough to beat any team going forward with how limited we are on offense. I just don't see us being able to hold the likes of Toronto or Tampa to under 3 goals consistently. They aren't the offensively inept Islanders. I will still root for us to my heart's content, but I also realize how much of a disadvantage we are at with the injuries to our forwards.

Regardless, I absolutely despise Boston and enjoy nothing more than the worst upon all of their sports franchises. Sadly, Patriots fans are the least annoying fans among their 4 major sports - which is saying a lot. Bruins and Red Sox fans can go choke on a dick

    • Is right now the worst time in the history of Charlotte pro sports? The Hornets (formerly Bobcats) have been a dumpster fire since rejoining the NBA 20 years ago. The Panthers were a respectable but frustrating team before David Tepper bought the team, but now they are easily the worst team in the NFL. Charlotte only has 2 sports teams so it's unfair to compare to every other city in the country with a Big 4 pro sports team, because when you have all 4 of even 3, you tend to have one franchise that ends up being successful. If we're taking into account the Hurricanes and ranking NC's pro sports teams as a whole, the Hurricanes make everything look better in NC pro sports. But just taking into account cities with an NFL and NBA team, and excluding their respective NHL and MLB teams, in the last 5 years, Charlotte easily takes the crown for the worst city for pro sports. The only other city coming close is Detroit since the Pistons have been awful, but the Lions were in the NFC Championship last year and should probably have made it to the Superbowl if it weren't for some questionable coaching decisions. Indianapolis could be mentioned because the Colts and Pacers have had a somewhat rough go the last 5 years, but both the Colts and Pacers have had more recent success than either the Panthers or Hornets. Sadly enough I think the Panthers have a better shot at success than the Hornets since the NBA is structured more towards star player driven success and the NFL is a team driven sport where there is more parity year to year. But I'm fairly confident this level of misery will continue for some time.
    • This seemed to be what the Teppers wanted, as Stroud hit the ground running and the Texans became his team almost day one. I hope Bryce's play starts to speak for itself if he isn't very vocal, because it does make a difference. I mean, Cam had to jack up Josh Norman who was a fifth round pick in the coach's doghouse in year five! I wonder what Bryce would do in a situation like that. Thank goodness there was no Steve Smith here when he was drafted!
