I like Stroud and think he is the better QB.  It looks like Bryce Young will be the pick and I have accepted this possibility.  To say it's a done deal 10 days before the draft is ridiculous.  Just a few days ago CJ was the favorite and it could change back before the draft. I'm not answering the poll because it's one sided and unrealistic.

I'm fine with Young if he's the pick, but I think this stuff has gotten pretty stupid. Too many people are posting moronic sh-t just for the sake of being assholes.

I might need to take some time away from here for a bit.

I'm fine with Young. I'd prefer him to Stroud due to his better abilities dealing with the pass rush. But if we took Stroud I'd trust the coaches. I don't think Young's size is nearly as big of a deal as it's made out to be. He's undeniably a statistical outlier, but that didn't seem to matter in the SEC.

In the early stages it was me and Ivory Panther calling for Young, against like 80 percent of this site. Constantly got crap from Stroud dudes. Then it seems like there are nuts from both parties making their way out of the woodwork.

I swear they were ferocious!

i think many huddlers liked Young better, But they were afraid to say it from fear of the mob!

BUNCH OF SIZE QUEEN wanted to shut anyone who didn’t agree.

The worst ones were the “I’ll be ok with Young” crowd, but turned around & attacked anyone like who said Young should be the pick.

If a taller version of Bryce were available, I suspect the team would have drafted that person.

So, I'm good with Bryce and appreciate the importance of having a QB that can quickly identify a defense's weaknesses and exploit them.

I'm expecting Bryce Young to be the Panthers offensive version of Luke Kuechly.

    • There are going to be 7-8 openings at the end of the year and we are going to be the last choice for most.
    • And this... h’s efforts to boost Young’s confidence — some players viewed as overprotectiveness — continued through what turned out to be Reich’s final offensive play with the Panthers at Tennessee. Trailing by 7 and facing a fourth-and-6 at the two-minute warning, Young saw the Titans line up in what he believed to be Cover 0 — man coverage with no deep defender — and checked to a wide receiver screen to DJ Chark. Chark caught the ball four yards behind the line of scrimmage and was tackled for no gain by safety Amani Hooker, allowing the Titans to reclaim possession and run out the clock. After the game, Reich said it was the right check by Young and that Chark might have gotten too far behind the line of scrimmage. A clearly agitated Chark insisted the Titans were not in Cover 0 and the Panthers should have stuck with the original play call. A former NFL head coach agreed, saying the Titans fooled Young into thinking they were in Cover 0 before dropping their backside safety to the post area. That the postgame spotlight fell on one of the receivers was not a new development. The group’s difficulties getting open has been a season-long narrative. “I don’t think we got the brunt of coaches’ criticism. But I do feel like we do get a lot of the blame when it comes to the success of the offense,” Chark said last week. “Obviously, when you talk about offense, the first thing that we say (is), ‘You’ve gotta give Bryce weapons,’ and things like that.” ...is not a good look for Bryce 😳
