Hall of Famer Bill Parcells on Bryce Young's Size: 'He Better Walk on Water'

Fantastic video.

It's no coincidence that all the footage is from the LSU, Georgia and Texas games either - teams that field multiple NFL level athletes on defence.

And there will be 11 of them on the field. Not three. Or two.

Try this: Take nearly any one of these SEC college players that made an NFL a roster, look at their  body and their game at the end of their college career, vs following just one season in the NFL. Which one do you think wins a one on one? College self or 1 year NFL vet self?

I may feel okay betting on Young with a top ten pick, maybe. I’d feel really good about making it in the 20s.

But I don’t make that bet at 1.1 having to pay so much extra to get the chance. When I say I don’t want Young, well  arbitrarily I don’t simply because of his size, he falls outside my okay zone. But there is a chance he overcomes that and also overcomes a suspect arm (in my mind), and I would take it at the right price. 1.1 plus considerable future and current assets- is so far out of that right price range I couldn’t even really take it seriously.

Interesting more voices are suggesting the Tepper's are steering the selection.

Also the Stetson Bennett remark stings.

Frank Reich wants a specimen. Remember Tepper had his hand in getting rid of all the tall handsomes in favor of short scrappies.

BY as the pick has Teppers spectacles and ketchup stained little fingers all over this.

The anarchist in me is amused by your commitment to this.

Flag won't save him if this man hits him it'll only get you a few yards but your qb will be broken. Which is why you need someone to stand tall get the ball out quick and not run around like a chicken with his head cut off..won't work in the pros guys are too fast

Looking National Football League GIF by Los Angeles Rams

Yeah because Young has never been hit by a 300 pound defensive linemen before smh

    • um... make it make sense. 200+ yards, no fumbles so why only a 75?!
    • They have for sure set the offense up to be successful with a QB that can run it.
    • I don't think Dan Morgan will be gone after this season, but some requested a potential 2026 GM candidate list. So here ya go. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Top/Rising General Manager Candidates: Notre Dame general manager Mike Martin Atlanta Falcons vice president of player personnel Kyle Smith Tampa Bay Buccaneers senior personnel executive Byron Kiefer Detroit Lions assistant general manager Ray Agnew Detroit Lions director of college scouting Brian Hudspeth Houston Texans assistant general manager Chris Blanco Former Indianapolis Colts chief personnel executive Morocco Brown New England Patriots senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith Buffalo Bills director of player personnel Terrance Gray Las Vegas Raiders vice president of player personnel Brandon Hunt Los Angeles Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander Seattle Seahawks Vice President of Player Acquisition Matt Berry Kansas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Bradway New York Giants assistant GM Brandon Brown Cleveland Browns assistant GM Glenn Cook Chicago Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds Buffalo Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM Mike Greenberg Philadelphia Eagles assistant GM Alec Halaby Green Bay Packers director of football operations Milt Hendrickson Houston Texans director of player personnel James Liipfert (may be the assistant GM with Texans now) Baltimore Ravens VP of football administration Nick Matteo Los Angeles Rams assistant GM John McKay Washington Commanders assistant GM Lance Newmark Please correct me where I may have incorrect titles and add any names you think may be rising. Again, I don't think Dan Morgan will be fired after this season, but some requested this following the HC thread I made. I personally like knowing the names of these up and coming GM/HC candidates whether we are searching or other teams.
