It’s just a race to see if they can become SB caliber while he’s on his first contract.

The only way it makes sense is if you're a really good contender level type team and you think you're an elite talent at RB away from a SB run. Meaning you're holding that pick because you either landed it in a prior trade or your QB was hurt all year or something along those lines.

Wasn't sure, but thought this may need it's own thread: Bryce Young took a dump at 8:02am this morning after scratching his nuts upon waking up at 6:15am.

Again, thought about a new thread, but thought it may be a bit overkill.

So it was a productive morning once awake then....

Get use to it buddy. He's the face of the franchise for the next 10+ years. He's going to be discussed a lot on this sub. This is just the beginning of threads brother. Might as well start embracing him because he's not going anywhere anytime soon...

Well, yeah, but at least this year, if Desmond Ridder is half as competent and the Falcons coaching staff is half as competent to use Kyle Pitts, I can see the NFC South being a dogfight.

That’s alot of IF’s for a team drafting a RB that high…

That’s fine he’s the pick, I just wish it wasn’t leaked this soon. I would have liked to be surprised on draft night.

That was planned meltdown mitigation.

From my perspective, a surprise was never in the cards (even though the media was doing it's best to generate suspense).

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
