Levis is now up to 4/1 lol

This isn't just the twitter post, a post doesn't get that kind of action. There is real smoke that either Indy is trading up or Carolina deceived everyone

I think you underestimate the idiocy of today’s betting public

Levis is going to be the No. 1 pick

OK, so I consider this to be the most unlikely scenario, but maybe Levis actually is going to the No. 1 pick. What if teams have been high on him all along and were trying to keep it under wrap so as not to confirm what other teams were also thinking?

It’s not weird that he’s getting the hype right now, considering all of the other top QB prospects have received top pick consideration throughout this pre-draft process, including Young, Stroud and even Anthony Richardson. It would be weird if it actually happens though. It’s not often a guy goes from consensus No. 3 or 4 player at his position to first overall pick.

    • Assuming Mann is back I’d go ahead and move Green and the first rounder from PHX for a starting center. I prefer Okogie to Green anyway.
    • Been here since the Coliseum days. Hornets were the first pro team I ever rooted for. If they're ever going to get out of the gutter they have to establish a culture. They are trying to do that. I have no idea if it will be successful but it's a start.
    • I don’t think I'd go that far but there is definitely legitimate reason to ask how much he actually values winning and being great as a basketball player. He is very easily distracted with off the court stuff. This has been a public criticism of people like LeBron James with some of the newer generations of "stars". And it is 1000% valid and needed to be said. All I can say is I hope this is the year. If it is it will be apparent fairly early on. But I get the sense if the same themes continue as the upcoming season progresses the FO could look to move him before the trade deadline. It would suck for a multitude of reasons and I don't want to see it happen but if it did it would be on LaMelo and LaMelo alone because they've given him the keys and are finally putting pieces around him. If he wants to be a great basketball player and win he will be here and do what is necessary for the team to be successful. If not well....
