It’s hard to tell much from these practices since so many backups and bubble guys play.

Remember joint practice with Miami in 2015? Miami dominated. We went on to go 15-1 and they had a losing season.

Pepperidge Farm remembers.  The Dolphin beat writers were clowning us and saying they had to take it easy on us b/c we couldn't hang...

Big market bias is real, but none of that matters come the regular season.

I remember reading a quote from a Miami player after the season ended. He said he was baffled at how our season went…lol.

The Jets have a great defense too, so this is some fantastic work our team is getting.

Thank you!!  There is no game planning...  If the offenses can't connect, that is a bad, bad omen...

I'm much happier to hear that our offense is looking good against what everyone nationally assumes will be a top 10 to top 5 defense than our defense getting picked apart in a practice by a 1st ballot Hall of Famer.

In the words of A-Rod... "Relax...."

    • Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan is putting the league on notice early into his NFL career, and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is well aware.  “I think he’s a stud,” Shanahan told reporters Thursday. “He’s going to be one of the best receivers in this league sooner than later. He’s got all the skill sets to do it, and I think he’s just getting started.”  Through 11 games played, McMillan has racked up 748 receiving yards on 54 receptions. He ranks sixth in the NFL in receiving yards and leads all rookies in the category.  Carolina selected McMillan as the No. 8 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. San Francisco had the 11th overall pick.  Did the receiver out of Arizona catch Shanahan’s eye in draft preparation?  “Yeah, big time,” Shanahan said.  Shanahan also said that he thought the receiver would be taken well ahead of the 49ers’ draft position, but the team did their due diligence when scouting the best overall draft picks in the 2025 class. With McMillan off the board, San Francisco ended up selecting defensive end Mykel Williams with the 11th pick to bolster its defensive line. https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nfl/san-francisco-49ers/kyle-shanahan-tetairoa-mcmillan/1893558/
    • Koochie is playing his best hockey yet so far but it’s a small sample size
    • In basically every win but Atlanta he's had 2-3 plays that were a big deal but he also was part of why we needed those 2-3 plays instead of just cruising.
