I like Foreman personally but maybe it's time for the huddle to admit he has been over hyped here to a degree.

Agreed. I think you have a bit of both extremes. One group wants to blame him for everything (ie missing a 5th round pick WR who looks great) and the other wants to give him credit for all of the good moves while blaming Rhule for all of the bad. I like our offseason pickups, and honestly the trade for the top pick wasn’t as high as the market was setting it to be. The Johnson 3rd round pick was a total panic move and the Burns situation is a mess. He still has a lot to price, but isn’t the worst or best GM so far.

    • I was in a typical argument last year with a Bryce advocate and said I could concede every point, but you still would not have an answer for the ball security issues. He coughs it up on the regular. And defenses know this obviously, the likelihood is it keeps happening.  There is nothing we can point to showing it won’t.   And I won’t ever concede that his margins for error are very thin due to his physical makeup. He has to be so much better than the guys with tools just to get similar results. It is expecting too much.
    • Of course not that I believe Andy Dalton would make us an instant superbowl contenders, but we would definitely see an instant improvement offensively.  Last year when Dalton came in, he threw over 300 yards and 3 TDs.  This is the style of offense Canales seeks to run.  This year we got even more guys to put up air production. (Tetairoa, the intricate routes of Hunter Renfroe, speed with Jimmy Horn, and hopefully the healthy return of Jalen Coker)  Combine that with our running game, and we would be a real threat.  So what Dalton represents, is the opportunity to see what this offense can really do.  What would happen if we can combine this run game, with an effective down the field passing attack?
