Long podcast

1. Coaches not performing to hype

2. Offense putrid

3  Final contract  year veterans like Chinn.  Burns. Matos may be gone before trade deadline

4. Reich not using Hubbard, TEs et Al. .Yes have injuries but ways to overcome are not being used

5. Trades should recoup some draft picks and leave enough cap space to get  free agents in 2024

6  top. 3 needs  WR  WR  WR  with cornerback also

7   None of the analysts think there is a  turnaround possible on the roster

8  oline being asked to block up to 5 seconds

9   Say the best for year is optimistic is 7 and 10 based solely on Reich’s history of slow starts

10  two year rebuild probable

11 free agents not performing as hoped

12  issue with talent, play calling and execution   Does not expect Reich to relinquish play calls

that’s about it

I don’t see any way in hell this team gets to 7 wins with Bryce starting. Maybe 3 to 4 at best. I’m willing to be patient but so far have been completely unimpressed with Reich. There’s no imagination or creativity at all.

I think it’s a pretty good chance they do trade burns…shoulda last year but that seems to be the Panthers way lately

…who lot of shoulda, woulda, couldas

Season just started and it already feels like im watching Panthers game for nothing but pain and laughs.

This team will be lucky to win 5 games. This is easily one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Only so much the defense can do to keep us in games. Tepper hired a offensive HC yet he calls plays like it's 1980 nothing modern about his playcalls. Guys running into each other on routes. Just shades of a Rhule led team.smh

Feels like ages ago you were saying we could win the NFCS and make a serious run in the playoffs doesn't it.

The ad cut-ins in this podcast are so fuging jarring, real amateur hour stuff.

I didn’t find it that way

Mike Kaye and the others are around the team see, hear, and sense things we don’t

I appreciate Kaye’s inout in killing a spade a spade. He isn’t a homer

Frankly, I like Brian Burns but I wish they had moved him

the problem with this Tepper organization is instead of biting the bullet and creating the team they want they think they can use bondo and duct tape to something sellable

‘lipstick on a pig’ …

I thought the content itself was good, I'm just talking about the advertising cut-ins...dunno if it was just my experience but it would be someone talking and mid-sentence/word an ad would start. Felt really disjointed and interrupted the listening experience.

    • I'd hold on to Walker - we have no OT depth at all. Freeling is a block of clay - all the tools are there and he appears to have a great attitude. He needs serious work on his technique to realise his potential though.
    • From my watch last night: They weren't trading out of 19 unless it was a daft offer once Freeling got there. They were clearly antsy to get Hunter - and Minnesota actually called to offer the trade down. They weren't trading out of the third round pick once Brazzell fell to it (and Canales would have been happy with him in the second round). They traded back a lot on Day 3 - even if Morgan 'Babe Ruth'd' it with Lee, Hecht and Wheatley; they clearly weren't the only guys they would have taken at those picks. I'm curious to know which player caused the reaction at the start of day 2 (Dan Morgan): "of course they'd pick him"
    • Watching this confirms that this staff and front office is super high on Monroe Freeling. I wouldn't be surprised if he's gotta a real chance to win the starting LT job in camp. If he does, we can look to flip Rasheed Walker to a contender desperate for tackle help.   As for Ickey I still really like him and wanna extend him but based on how the staff was talking about Freeling it might be time for ickey to start taking some practice sets at guard if he wants to stay here as we are gonna have to have figure out a solution for the contracts of Lewis and Hunt.  My preferred scenario for the Oline in 2027 is Freeling-Ickey-Hech-Lewis-Moton.
