TheRed. Sometime around the time Cam started falling apart, his tone changed to about the most condescending dickhead you could find on the Internet, which is a real accomplishment. His reading comprehension skills, along with his ability to like any player in Panthers history not named Moore or Newton, also rapidly eroded.

I'm a mouthpiece for David Tepper, and yet the most recent post I'd made was

But don't worry, he'll see that, ignore it, and bring up his closet crush, CMC -- or maybe some "meltdown" insult. Bro should at least put it in a different language so I'm not reading the same thing every time someone calls him out on his bullshit

Oh snap. I remember him quite well. He use to be a Cam stan then he fell off and started hating on him.

Red, you were a lot more fun (or at least bearable) before this alt turned you into a condescending prick.

I can't stand Tepper, and you know that, but you get your rocks off by hating on every player this team has and if it gets you a cheap insult, you'll go for it -- and use the same one every single time.

Tepper makes JR look like an all time great owner and that's probably an understatement. Dave and his wife clearly at minimum lightly pushed the "decision makers" toward Young. When your boss and his wife are head over heels are you going to argue? I'll be interested to hear info about all that process eventually come out in the next several years because you know it's going to be a doozy. I like Bryce Young on a personal level but the pick was always a gamble and I'm trying to think of a worse first overall pick QB trade the last several years going so badly within the first few weeks of the season and this is looking like Johnny Manziel Browns territory. Sorry but that's the situation.

He's hated every player who didn't light it up out of the gate, except Sam Darnold, who he preached patience for for half a season.

Kinda funny how his go-to insult is to call people a Darnold weirdo. Some major projecting going on there. But it's cool, he'll say we're Cam haters now, which is hysterical if you looked at all the years we spent defending Cam.

I really don’t think that is debatable at this point.   You can’t go around hugging the fuging players before their pro day and not think it won’t affect the decision making

I'm gonna resist posting the "wait, just wait" gif

That's my favorite GIF too!  All I have really done is mock the people crying conspiracy theories about the injury.  I think Young still has a shot to have a good career.  It's waaaaaay to early, but Fields might be running (pun intended) out of time.

What are you even rambling about? You are big mad.  I didn't want Darnold. He wasn't even on anyone in this fanbases radar until Rhule and Fitterer started sniffing around. All of us tried to convince ourselves he could be salvaged what other choice was there after Scott picked up his 5th year option?

I feel like 70% of the Huddle (myself included) preferred Stroud.  In fact we did a poll and he was the favorite.  I still think Young can be ok but Stroud was a Huddle fav for sure.

Stroud was my #1.  But I was content pending they took any of the 3.  We simply had to play the QB lotto.

You climbed others' asses about how it was the offensive line, and how it would take more than two weeks for a fourth-year veteran to show what he could do.

And yet, a first-year rookie doesn't even get two weeks now. Nothing's changed except your amount of patience, and no "but McCaffrey" insult can change that.

Watching JT's newest video once again proves Bryce's receivers had little to no separation all night. Now, the 8-10 people who camp out in every Bryce thread will conveniently ignore that and instead highlight a third-down sack or a missed throw, (the sack, especially, is fair game) but the full picture from JT's video is that Bryce's mechanics are fine, his decision-making doesn't deserve 1/10 of the vitriol it gets on here, and the biggest issue regarding his lack of success isn't being shorter than most QBs.

It's the subpar playcalling, the route concepts, and the non-existent separation. Stroud would not fare much better, if at all, with the tools available here.

Completely false, I was very much on board with going after Darnold even before we knew the team wanted him, and I'm still not convinced the trade was a bad one.  He's a player with all the physical tools you could want in a QB in today's game, his problem has always been in his head.

Darnold had the worst imaginable coaching possible with the Jets and then somehow got equally bad coaching here.  If he started his career with a coach like Shannahan, there's a chance we're talking about Darnold as an elite QB in this league.

The fact that Shannahan was willing to dump Lance and all they had invested in him to go with Darnold instead, actually tells me that he's likely better than he showed in New York or here, and it was the coaching that ruined him.

    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
    • I mean there is relevance to that. But I think much of it has to do with the fact that he is clearly likeable. But does that translate to a coach taking his position to the next level like those that have had staying power for many years like Spoelstra? And not for nothing but does how much someone is liked even matter? Across leagues with the Panthers Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney were universally well liked by players. Dave Canales is very well liked. I say you are what your record says. And the record says you got your ass handed to you by a fellow expansion team in the Magic in a game that was over at halftime and that same team went toe to toe with our nemesis who has been handing us L's for over a year now. And if Bam doesn't get his leg swept by LaMelo do we even get past the Heat? Again. It just all boils down to personal standards. I think newer and younger fans will love this. I just want to actually win a real playoff game fam 🤷‍♂️
