ok matt moore performed great last week,as a fan i m all for it. but i m seeing fans of the kid come out of the wood works like hes the chosen one. i hope he is the answer but im not selling the farm for him at this point. lets not forget last weeks performance and most of the vikings game the offense looked awful. i m not stating he isnt the future but i still think we should bring in and draft a qb. i just think now we can afford to take a wr in the second and wait on a qb later.

At a bare minimum he's a lot more fun to watch. I remember feeling that way back in 2007, too - similar situation. Let the kid come in and fling it around.

Honestly, I think most people share your point of view. Even if he plays very well these last two games and we resign him, I still want the Panthers to draft a quarterback (just maybe not with our first pick).

The Panthers need to find their franchise quarterback, and should make every effort this offseason to do so.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Matt has done a decent job so far but he will have to keep improving to become what we need in a QB. The only thing I have seen on here is people who have faith that maybe he can be the guy in time and they feel he should be given a chance.

I am sure that so far and most likely he will be, Far more entertaining to watch than a QB that has had Tommy_John_surgery who seemed to be okay for awhile, but now his only good attribute, (accurate throws) is a thing of the past.

I don't Hate Jake! However I must admit watching him play this year has been the most painful single thing I can remember in football.

Let's be honest, so far, Moore has done what everyone has asked of him to do, and he deserves his chance.

It cuts both ways. Moore haters are lined up to diminish what he has done, and Jake haters are crowning him as awesome. Most fans here are more middle of the road which is that he has had a good start but it has been rocky at times and he needs to improve. For me he is 2-1 which is all that matters.

While drafting a QB may be a good idea, he will not be the franchise QB for several years. Peyton Manning wads 1-15 his 1st year starting, right now Matt is 4-2. I convinced that matt should be given the opportunity to be the starter for 2010. He's shown a lot of promise and we as fans have to understand he will have good games and bad games, but if we stay behind him we may see the QB develop that we have all wanted. As of today he is our best option to win by far, so let's give him the chance that was given to Jake, you may be happy you did. We don't need a superstar, just a good solid above average QB that handles all situations well.

He deserves to start for the last 2 games. Whether he deserves to start in 2010 will be based on who we have next year. There is no guarantee we will even resign Moore given he will be a restricted free agent. People criticize Fox for determining the starter before the season starts and yet people are doing that with Moore. Lets see what happens in the offseason and then lobby for the starters then.
