Receiver is easier to replace than those other positions.  I understand the move.

That's what Fitts said. Meanwhile, look at our history at DT and edge rusher. Now look at our history at WR. Now tell me which one we've struggled most at.

We put all our chips on the table for a young QB. You gotta commit to building around him and the commitment should've started with parting with a key young defensive piece rather than our only proven receiver.

I honestly dont want Fitt making anymore decisions with roster and draft capital. Its absolutely hilarious as much poo as Hurney gets Fitt is basically having to trade away all the good players Hurney came back and drafted just to fail out at fixing faulty leaks. When he runs out, thats when you know we are really screwed.

Yeah I gave Fitt a grace period after Rhule left but he's officially in Whac-a-mol territory

Yes, historically our franchise has struggled drafting receivers, does that mean we should stop?

Rhule is still responsible for everything.  Tepper only publicly fired him to appease the fans, but he still rules as shadow GM.  Reich was hired as a puppet coach and does the bidding of the all mighty Rhule from behind the scenes.  Maybe one day Fitterer will finally be freed of the shackles and be able to be a good GM.

Or maybe he just sucks.

Yes. Also you gotta read the situation, we got 2 young receivers right now how does drafting more rookies help bryce? The fanbase cant even give the guys we draft more than 5 minutes to develop as is....why draft more? Get guys with a experience to help the young qb  since a draft pick isnt good enough.

Dalton managed 360 yards behind our patch work O line with practically no run game, on the road, in the rain, with this WR group.

A stud WR isn’t going to all of a sudden turn Bryce into an elite NFL QB.

Fitt and co hedged their jobs on the trade up to draft Bryce and it’s backfired miserably so far and now they’re scrambling in panic mode.

He needs to a good crack to the dome after that boneheaded trade he made. The fact that yall don’t know which trade I’m talking about really makes my point.

Picking a GM based on Seattle being good in 2013 is wild They have drafted like poo for about 10 years aside from a couple receivers

Yep. And that’s when really poor management decisions start being made. Dude knows he is on hot water so he will mortgage the future for instant gratification and if it doesn’t work, it never does BTW, he will be fired but the team will be a dumpster fire for the next decade. fuging morons running this team.

    • Give me Anthony Hill Jr or give me death
    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
