He’s only admitting this to take some of the heat off Bryce. It’s good coaching to take that accountability, but even better coaching to recognize you have better options on your staff that should be calling plays.

I've never seen your level of delusional coping mechanisms while watching a raging dumpster fire. 😂

I cannot imagine being such a fan of this team that you have to die on the defending Bryce and Reich hill after the past 4 weeks.  fuging nuts

We are a complete dumpster fire and if you look at it objectively this is no easy or logical path out.  Too many holes, not enough draft capital and not a semblance of good qb play or good coaching.

we are fuged

I mean I pay attention to the NFL not just the panthers.

I’ve seen Josh Allen be trash his rookie year, and then as soon as Diggs and company arrive he looks like a different guy.

I’ve seen Miami try to run Tua out of town and then help arrives and he looks like a different guy.

I’ve seen Baker get thrown away by a team, come here and look lost and now is having a career year.

It might be hard for your pride to swallow, but maybe just maybe we are a terrible situation for a young QB.
Good QBs in the NFL don’t bust, situations do.

I think the coaching is the dumpster fire, not the QB.  Rookie QB - you have to at least let him play out the season and see if he's headed in the right direction.  Unfortunately, too many are looking at Stroud and expecting the same from Bryce and it isn't fair in the broader historical context for QBs.

Back to this topic - anyone remember in week 1 that Reich took the blame for one of the INTs and basically said that he told Bryce who to throw to on that play based on coverage?  He's trying to play joystick QB and honestly I think it's going to hurt Bryce's development.  He needs to be able to make all the reads on his own and make his own decisions.

That int excuse was pretty bullshit and obviously trying to cover for young.  He said it was his fault because he didnt tell young that Nfl players cheat in coverage.  Looking back now its clearly horseshit

I do agree with this but is Bryce a good QB?

I sure as sh!t hope so but early returns are screaming no. How much of this dumpster fire is Frank? Dalton did a lot more the week prior which is concerning and says a lot.

Bryce has 2 awful int’s. 2 awful fumbles. These have directly cost us games. Those have been on Bryce 100%.

One thing is damn clear at this point and that Frank has no business being a HC.

He’s a rookie. He’s made some rookie mistakes. I can live with those.

You didn’t see bad QB play form him yesterday. You saw a bad offense. You saw a bad offense when Dalton was out there and a busted coverage doesn’t change that. The offense is bad and with a rookie at the helm it’s going to look rough at times.

Be concerned if he’s missing wide open guys. He’s not, he’s executing the offense that’s called.

    • I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.
    • We need to hope this scenario plays our next week he fails with pressure…what that means with Evero, is beyond me
    • Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
