so many douchebags on this board think announcing random ass predictions as fact makes them cool

I dont know if you were refering to me. But if you were.

I'd like you and everyone else to know that Kemo and Lewis are both due 9.3 million dollar team option bonuses in March.

If I were a betting man, I would bet that they would both be cut.

It only makes sense, remember when we were stockpiling young DTs through trades and waivers at the beginning of the season? Do you think that was because we were planning on tying up almost 19 million into average DTs.

I like both players, but neither are worth that much money.

The only way they stay is if they sign an extension (restructure deal).

i'm thinking that since NT is at a premium and they have too high of a risk getting injured we should go into next year with three....kemo, thomas, and leonard. that depth would be good and being able to rotate them out frequently would help keep them around longer.

finding decent NTs is a difficult thing to do. we have 3 on the roster for the moment. we should keep them for at least another year. leonard is the only one i can see keeping around long term.

a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush or something like that.

    • I knew very little about this player before we drafted him. When I read scouting reports about him I understood the pick and thought it made sense as a late round receiver with speed and special teams ability but after watching him more closely and now adding his interviews into the equation I'm actually really excited about him. I know it's just RMC but I noticed him running his routes with this extra step that really stood out to me during the general video posted earlier without realizing who it was doing that.  His speed in his first cut is just on another level and it's visible. When I saw it I was **** whoa, who was that?! Then I saw Horn JR. and my first thought was oh it's him. I think it's very possible that he was under appreciated going into the draft due to his height and stats because he played at Colorado where the attention was on 2 other players but I think this dude's ceiling is way higher than most think it is. Especially after watching his interview. He looks hungry. I may have found my fav rook for this year's pre-season. I like pulling for underdogs anyway and as someone who played on the small side myself it just gives me more reason to cheer for him. The competition at WR looks like it's going to be fierce this season. I honestly can remember any preseason where I looked at out wr group and got past 3 players who I thought were interesting but this season I'm interested in at least 5 who have my attention going into the season.
    • Wilson should be getting called for at least 3 penalties a night even in the post season. How does he not lead the NHL in PM???
