I think Brown and Evero are/could be strong coaches.  Reich seems to be lost a bit in his early/mid-2010s framework of building a team.

The statement made by Frank at one of his first press conferences about his and Fitterer's roles was that Fitterer got the players and he decides who plays. Take that how you will. He followed with their standard " its a collaborative effort" bs. It's stuck with me from the time I heard it.

This "collaborative" and "diversity of thought" talk seems to not be working so well.

Fitterer is to blame for this mess

Did I say he was?

I dont know if Reich can even be blamed much tbh. Hes a brand new coach handed this pile of dog poo roster. Not saying hes good but the Scott Fitterer problem goes back a while. Hes consistently made stupid trades and draft picks

Id love for him to be fired today. Hes done a poo job the entire time hes been here

I think if you fire him then you have to totally reboot the scouting dept as well because they seem to be at the root of this as well.   I mean its not fitt just throwing darts and picking players he is getting feedback/reports from the scouting dept

The best description I’ve seen anywhere was from another poster.  It goes like this….

At a very possible 0-17 and even more possible league worst record, we will literally pick AFTER the Super Bowl champs next year.

The potential comedy of the leagues first 0-17 team picking after the champs is unparalleled.

It now looks like it will be a challenge for this team to avoid 0-17.

If Tepper thinks the crowd was bad during the Vikings home game, or the last days of Rhule,  it will get much much worse.

his leadership of this franchise is a toilet worthy dumpster fire house of cards and he isn’t going to fire himself

I’ve come to believe the best thing for the city and fans is for Tepper to sale or move the team.  Been a ticket holder since 1995….this is no longer a dinner worth being served

    • I'm not to sure it's a solid argument to try to estimate what he will do this season, BUT he's had a solid 3 years in the league. Here's his numbers compared to Jewell's for the same time period. I can see the logic of getting a starting MLB for a (at best) WR4. AT, XL and Tmac are certainly our top 3 guys IN 2025. Certainly worth pondering.
    • Training camp just started and it's already starting... https://www.facebook.com/reel/24277303321904901/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v LOL No one believes you and you have fan pages sharing this with a "Play him or trade him" headline. Oh wee mayne. This is why no front offices wanted any part of this.
    • Honestly, it only makes sense if you're trying to chase being the best bad team you can be this year. The number one question we need answered this season is whether or not Bryce is our long-term franchise QB. Trading away a second year WR who was second on the team in catch percentage, first in yards per target, and who clearly outplayed your 1st round pick for a likely one year rental fill in LB is exactly the type of short sighted desperation moves that has made us the worst franchise in the league under Tepper. We gotta stop making these types of moves and just focus on building a good organization and a good roster. Lloyd is a JAG LB another bad team and awful defense is wavering on and a couple of Panthers fans are salivating over him. Oof. We just need to be patient and wait. Definitely make some calls around the league to teams deep at LB and see if there's an opportunity to add one for a late round pick. Definitely shop the waiver wire hard. The reality is that LB is almost certainly going to be a weakness for us this year. We weren't fixing our entire roster in one off-season and we're not fixing an overall weak positional group in late July.  If you trade for Lloyd LB is still a weakness and you've given up a young promising WR who could potentially help you answer the question of whether or not Bryce is that guy. That's bad football business.
