Derrick Henry is a monster. But unfortunately he's stuck on a team with what has become mediocre coaching and horrible QB play by Ryan Tannehill. I imagine if you swapped him and McCaffrey on the 49ers he would be in MVP talks too.

Ball on the one and you have Derrick Henry but instead you take multiple sacks and end up back at your 20… brilliant coaching. Have enough trust in Henry to get you that one yard.

I don't disagree but CMC is the much better fit for that offense.

Yeah McCaffrey as a receiver is a match-up nightmare. But Shanahan knows how to spread the ball around when it's time. Unlike us through multiple coaches.

Yeah that offense is all about creating impossible matchup scenarios for the defense. Our brass wanted to recreate what the Niners and Dolphins do but they got it backasswards. Those QBs don't look great because they're individually great. They look great because they're surrounded by elite talent in matchup nightmare offensive systems. We thought you could just plug in that type of QB and he'd lift everyone up. No. Those QBs are the ones being lifted up.
